Great hearing aids
I bought a pair of these about a year ago, and they were great. Lasted about a year before one died. When the other finally died, I bought another pair. The new pair charged, and beeped when I put them in my ears, but neither one worked at all, so I returned them. The thing I love about this brand is, they not only amplify, they add a little treble. I can hear people talk, but can't make out what they say. These add the frequency I'm missing, so I can hear TV and my granddaughter, without turning the volume up.ill try ordering another pair, and hope they work. I tried another brand, and although they amplified, they didn't add treble, so I returned them.Update: I bought the same brand again and these work great. Highly recommend.

Wow No joke Try these and Hear for Real
These were purchased for my best friend who is very hard of hearing and I was excited to be able to have a normal conversation and not have to scream across 50 feet at them.. I have been reading reviews on these and other ones and this one seemed to have a good review: I have now asked them to describe how they feel about them and I personally will add my opinion at the end;“My biggest complaint with my hearing aides from the doctor is everything sounds like I am in a tunnel both speaking and hearing. It was nothing like I expected at all. Try talking and listening in a tin can. Not to mention that they were expensive even with insurance and ugly. The batteries are a huge pain too so my friend got these for me and I was skeptical but I put them in. I was disappointed at first because I still sounded like an echo when I spoke but after she helped me adjust them to the conversation setting it was so much better and I finally could hear without the tunnel sound. I have also learned to speak softer and I really can hear. They are so much easier to put in my ears and very comfortable. I like how it is always set on my setting because it’s the 3 beeps and no more fiddling with batteries is fantastic. I don’t understand how you pay so much money for hearing aides from a ear doctor and these are a fraction of the price. Thank you very much for these cool looking and comfortable hearing buds.G. OgbornI myself had to try these hearing assistance buds and I do struggle with hearing loss myself with background noise.. yes there’s a bit of an echo when you speak but it’s more that you are hearing yourself speak.. otherwise these are amazing on the outside setting for people who struggle with background noise and conversation is fantastic for my best friend.. the charging pod is amazing and it stays set.. I wish the outrageously expensive hearing aides from the Audiologist was refundable.. I will be purchasing myself a couple pairs and another set for my best friend..RespectfullyMarcella J Hilber

Hearing isn't worth a fake 5-star review just to get a gift card.
These are mediocre hearing amplifiers that assist with some hearing difficulties. My hearing loss is from an injury (not genetics &/or bad decisions in youth that show up when aging). So I don't care if I do not get the Amazon gift card for a 5-star review (which is what I was "promised" from a post card I received. These are decent (at best) if you simply need volume. These are Not Hearing Aides, they amplify sound, they muffle nosie (in general on the noise reduction setting). They are totally worth buying if your hearing issues are one dimensional, like u just need some volume. They work well as a substitute pair while I figure out how to get my $5000 pair fixed. I was hoping these would be able to replace my expensive ones, however not so much... their earbud (partial out-of-ear) means they get in the way when answering phone, they will fall out if you move abruptly or vigorously (again I'm not a retiree, I'm an active person with a full time somewhat physical job). On the benefit side, they are visible so people realize that I wear hearing aides when I ask them to speak up (in person) that actually helps (I've never understood why u want to hide ur hearing aides when seeing them makes people realize that you're Not ignoring them or being rude, you just didn't hear them!!) I'm giving 3stars becuz these are decent, they're worth the $140 price, they do assist with volume & with general noise reduction. So if that's all u need Get Them! Yet I am hopeful that the new policies about OTC-non-prescription hearing aides will improve what is available and lower the prices as well as put this extremely important item on the list of things covered by medical insurers, as it should have been all along!

Pretty Good Product
With some negative reviews, I was hesitant to buy "sound amplification devices". But, the price seemed low enough and with a return policy, I thought I would give a try.I was pleasantly surprised by this product. It didn't take much effort to unpack and test the product to figure out all the knobs.Got to a point where the mode and sound level that work for me, easily and quickly. If needed, it's easy to change on the fly also. It's reasonably comfortable and quite secure placed in the ear. I like the case with the extra battery that charges the device automatically upon placing the device in the case. I like the auto turn off and delayed turning on upon placing it in the ear.Static noise occurs when fingers and other objects cover the device. But, it's not so bad if you have the sound level not so high. I couldn't really discern the effectiveness of the noise cancelation function. For me this works well in meetings. I often use only one side as needed. I would recommend this product for simpler use.
