Finally got around to installing this tape on our back deck steps - they wood and stay shaded, so they are very prone to growing mildew and getting quite slick when wet. Also, our outdoor lights don't do much to light up these steps, so this tape was the perfect solution to both issues. Obviously I had to clean the wood well and then let it dry out completely, but the adhesion seems to be very strong. I went to the extra step of slightly radiusing the corners to further prevent peeling later on. The glowing strip is pretty visible, though in a perfect world I'd like it a little wider so the glowing was brighter for my aging eyes, but all in all I have no complaints.

The textured part of the tape itself is thick and dense with a sand texture. The glow in the dark strip glows nice and bright. My issue is with the adhesive. It barely stays on. It needs stronger adhesive

I have been using polyurethane and sand to add traction but I saw this and decided to try it. For adding traction, it works very well, but since I have just installed it (very easy, just like applying tape), I do not know how long it will last. If it fails to last long enough for my subjective taste (at least one entire year), I will update this review. For now, at this price point for 60 feet of product, you are doing well using this brand.

This is really high quality grip tape. I've purchased several other types of grip tape in the past, and none of them have been nearly as good as this one. It has a seriously textured surface, which is what makes it non slip, and the tape itself is thick and heavy duty. The adhesive is seriously sticky, so I don't think I have to worry about it peeling up and coming off anytime soon, which is one of the problems I had with the other brands I purchased. They didn't stay on for long before the edges and corners of the strip started peeling up. I used this to replace the current non-slip tape on the ramp of my wheelchair accessible van, which is a very slippery surface especially when it's wet. This is excellent quality, and in terms of the value, this is one of those things where you truly get what you pay for. Yes, it's a bit more spendy then the others I purchased, but if it's going to stay on better and last a longer time, it will be a better value in the long run. Recommended!

Tape is grippy, surface has a lot of texture and seems very non-slippery. Nice and wide. I only wish that the bright colored stripe was a bit wider so that it was more visible (e.g., for the edges of steps).

Easy to install. Used scissors to cut each piece. The strips are thick. Tape backing to hold onto surface. The thickness means it has good lateral strength so it did not twist or get out of alignment when putting on steps. Used it on the leading edge exterior of wood steps. Glow in the dark strips make it easier to see where each step begins. It is a soft glow but enough to see at night. Can see the glow from over 10' away. The non-slip surface is grippy and works on sandals, bare feet, and shoes. Did not hurt bare feet when walking up.Adding glow in the dark strip is a good idea for non-slip tape.

This tape is thick, grippy, and highly reflective. I am so thrilled with this product!I'm in the process of renovating a 10x20 shed into an art studio. This shed is in my backyard, and the walkway to the shed is slippery. This will allow me to create safe steps down to the shed, and make sure the entrance to the shed is reflective and non-slippery, especially in the dark.I highly recommend this tape!
