The inside was badly obstructed with plastic clag so it wouldn't push onto the old boathook handle. I was eventually able to remove it by putting the product in the vice and using a sharp gouge and hammer to chop through the clag. However in doing this I slightly damaged the product. Let's hope it's still strong enough.

Got this to go on the end of an aluminium pole I had and was simple to fix on with two screw holes. Just what I needed and cheap alternative to buying a whole new pole for my boat .very pleased and sturdy hard plastic

Came all the way from China ahead of time and exactly what I wanted.
