I felt compelled to write a review for this coop because it’s the first thing I’ve bought in years that actually could be assembled the way it’s supposed to be. It was so satisfying to have every pilot hole in the right place, no broken pieces, all the hardware and even a screwdriver provided (though it’s much faster with an electric one). Haven’t even put a chicken in it yet, but the assembly process warrants five stars.

From unpacking, sorting parts to assembly it took approx. 2 1/2 hrs. Add another 15-30 min to set it up for the chickens. Easy! I recommend using an electric screwdriver just to make things easier.Thus is a cute little chicken coop and it's the perfect size for my serama chickens.My MAJOR concern is its balsa wood and that doesn't do well outside in the PNW rainy season.

My husband and I purchased 2 of these and were very hopeful for them. We did our research and seemed to be what we needed. Putting them together was not too difficult and we actually put them together in our house then took them outside. It does take longer than their predicted time but wasn't crazy.On their size, we do not believe them to be adequate to hold how many they list especially if you are keeping then in the run attached. It is not big enough to allow walking space, foraging, and their feed and water.These were also listed as predator proof. This I not the case. Our 3 month old puppy broke the run clean off and sadly we lost one of our hens.We plan to keep these coops for the coop only and put them inside an additional run system. The coops do seem to withstand weather as I'm writing this review in winter and our chickens seem content and comfortable in the coop even in the cold.

Large enough for 4 large hens. Good quality for price. Easy to assemble. Delivered quickly. Am hoping it holds up to weather!
