A lovely fruity filling.
A very tasty black cherry filling.Perfect for a black forest gateau, cheesecake topping, or as a pie filling.Ingredients wise it's cherries (40%), water, sugar and various thickeners and flavourings. It is unsurprisingly, quite high in sugar at 13.7%, but, not stupidly high, and after all, who wants a cherry pie that isn't sweet?.The black cherry filling is a more deep intense flavour when compared to the red cherry filling. More suited to something like a chocolate cake.I keep both varieties in my cupboard, as they are a quick and easy way to 'jus' up your desserts.I hope you found this review helpful.
