Very nice pencils, ok erasers
Love them! The Prismacolor pencils are very smooth and erases quite nice as long as you don't push to hard. Nice range of colours and the last quite some time (I use them with a pencil extender so that I can use them when they are teeny tiny). The eraser is just a basic eraser, but it erases.

Great sketching pencils
I use these for sketching and I'm very happy with them. I haven't had any trouble with the leads breaking, though I will update if that occurs later. The cardboard box had been squished enough that all of the pencils fell out into the Amazon bag, and while none look damaged, the leads possibly could have broken inside of the pencil. These have harder leads than Prismacolor Premier pencils, so the colour they lay down is softer compared to those. I don't use these for proper coloured pieces, though, just sketching, so I can't say much on how they perform when being used for a finished piece. They also erase very well. A kneaded eraser picks up the colour easily. The erasers on the pencils are a bit rough and hard, though. They tend to smear a bit and if you're not careful, you can mess up your paper pretty quickly. These are definitely something I've been using and will continue using often.

Better than graphite
I love my pencils. They write very lightly but thatās what I wanted. They donāt smear like graphite does. The melt and blend under alcohol markers like copic and Ohuhu so your art comes out without a thick outline.I use these a lot in my art and they are very different from regular pencils. If you want to practice sketching but are looking for an alternative to graphite pencils, I would 100% recommend these

Nice set of erasable pencils
This is a nice set of pencils. The leads are fragile so you do have to be careful sharpening as with most prismacolors. I liked all the shades except terra cotta it was very light and unpigmented, definitely a lower quality than the rest. I dont regret buying though

Erases well, good color selection and sharpens well. Great for sketching.
These are great for sketching. They are easy to sharpen and they erase pretty well. Like any pencil, use a lighter hand if you want to erase a lot.The color assortment is nice. I tend to use different colors for refining my sketches so I don't mix up unwanted lines with the newer lines of my sketches.

artists i follow use these for their sketches, major improvement!š¤©
Love these! Seen some artists i follow use these for their sketches, & it is such an improvement compared to regular pencils & then alcohol markers to color it in. You can color after the original sketch with theseš¤©. Originally id sketch with a mechanical pencil, add the line art, erase the pencil markings & then color. But now i can color before the line artš

Great quality. Looks great.
I use these a lot for my HVAC control class. They work great. If you use them a lot like me the erasers will go fast. Also the metal holding the erasers have a small tendency to break if you put too much force on the side while erasing.

Good Pencils, Some Colors Don't Work Well
Fairly decent for shading, some colors are better than others, as the lead can be quite hard. It barely colors the paper and leaves a deep indent in the paper as it is a very hard lead. Not sure if it's just the specific pencils I received, or if it's a larger issue with more of the pencils. I've seen videos of people using the same colors I have that don't work, and their pencils work well. So, other than that, I find them quite enjoyable to use for an under-sketch. They're best used for sketches under any marker work you are doing.
