As a metal fabricator this is an awesome addition to my shop welding rigs.Before I bought the Hel-hook I would usually hang my helmet on the gas valve handel and my ear muffs and safety glasses off the regulator. this was always a bit annoying to me since I would either bump the regulator flow rate or when I needed to close or open a tank i would have to remove the helmet. not a huge issue but i find its always nice to make work as easy as possible. Also I always check the tank valves when I close my shop and especially when i have a new guy working so it was always a process of taking off the helmet to make sure the valve was closed. I like the fact I now have a spot to store the bottle cap and a wrench also. It's a time saver and helps clean up my workspace. (30 seconds a day 300 days a year is 2.5 hours)Assembly was easy. The parts came burr free and had a nice tumbled finish. I used some silicon bronze rod and tig welded it up quickly and easily then can sprayed a few clear coats of matte lacquer. MADE IN USA!

Sweet and simple. Quick little welds per the instructions. Thru some paint on it. Fits perfect.

This is a great idea and I like that it is metal instead of the 3d printed ones that seem to be all over the place. It arrives as several stamped pieces and you need to assemble it and weld it (easy to do). The frustrating part was that no effort was made to file the edges and some were razor sharp. After about 30 minutes with a file, mine are now good. I also powder coated mine to prevent rusting.

Excellent product made with clean thick gauge steel that welds together very well and will last forever. The only mistake that I made was only purchasing one, my next order is on the way.

This is a great quality product that will last forever and it gives you a place to hand you igniters, helmets, cords, etc. I'm sure glad I found this. Can't believe how good quality these are, highly recommended, USA quality!!! This should be standard equipment when you buy a torch kit.

Awesome product !! We have about 6 of them in our shop. They hold every thing from 50 lbs of SO cord, wrenches, strikers, faceshields, helmets... wicked strong, easy to build.

The pieces all came nicely packaged in a plastic bag with desiccant to keep them dry. Everything fits together well. I simply cleaned all of the parts with acetone and burned them together with my little MIG. I went overboard and welded every joint, top and bottom. You could probably get away with not welding it at all, but I wanted the practice.For added protection, I used some cold bluing and then it dropped right onto my bottle.

I think it’s fine the way it comes because it can be used the way it is, however if you want to finish it you can do that too.
