A Lifesaver For Dog Owners - My Floors Have NEVER Been This Clean
A Lifesaver for Dog Owners – My Floors Have NEVER Been This CleanI honestly don’t know how I lived without the iRobot Roomba—especially as a dog owner. I have a large, lovable furball who seems to shed enough to knit a second dog daily. Enter Roomba: the little hero that quietly saves my sanity every single day. This thing picks up dog hair like a champ—from hardwood floors, rugs, corners, under furniture—you name it. I used to vacuum constantly just to keep the tumbleweeds of fur under control. Now I just schedule my Roomba, and it does the work while I’m doing anything else. It’s like having a tiny, tireless cleaning assistant. The suction is surprisingly strong, and it navigates around obstacles like a pro. It even senses when it’s on carpet vs hard floor, and adjusts accordingly. And bonus: it’s way quieter than a traditional vacuum. My dog used to bark at vacuums—he barely even notices Roomba doing its thing.Pros:🐾 Handles pet hair like a beast (no more fur tumbleweeds!)🤖 Smart navigation and self-charging🧹 Works on all floor types—hardwood, tile, rugs⏰ Scheduling is easy and efficient🔇 Quieter than expected—pet-approved!If you’re a pet parent and constantly battling the fluff, this is your sign. The iRobot Roomba is worth every single penny. It keeps my home looking effortlessly clean, and gives me back my time—and peace of mind.

My new friend
I love my new friend; she is very helpful. The cleaning ability on my Roomba is awesome, however, she does get hung up sometimes, like under the cabinets in the kitchen or bathroom, then I have to go and find her. I haven't used the mopping feature as of yet. she is very durable, she is normal size, her mapping features are awesome. I live in a small place so, she really doesn't have a lot to do. I have too much stuff for her to bump into, but she gets right back to work. With this particular model, she can mop and vacuum, so her functionality is superb. I would highly recommend her. My husband bought her for me for Christmas. I had bought a more upscale one, more expensive from Walmart and it wouldn't work, and I had to return it. So expensive doesn't always mean better

My new best friend!
I've had the Roomba about 2 1/2 weeks. his vacuum is my new best friend! I have a dog that sheds a lot, so parts of my house need to be vacuumed daily. I love that the vacuuming can be completed while I attend to other things. It does a decent job and once a week I can get the areas behind and under furniture with my upright vacuum that the Roomba can't reach. No more dog hair flying around as I walk through a room! Now, a couple of things of importance. It took about a week for Roomba to learn my house layout and become a little more efficient. Patience is required! Here's an example of when patience paid off. I saw a review with a video that showed the Roomba getting stuck in a small space for several minutes. The first time I used it, the same thing happened to me. There is a space at the bottom of my stairs where the steps are on one side and there are walls on two sides. The area is about 3' square. Roomba got stuck in there for several minutes, but I left it alone and it eventually figured out how to get out and has never repeated the "error." It now efficiently vacuums that small space and exits to continue with the rest of the vacuuming.Occasionally Roomba bumps into my dog and then moves out of the area to vacuum a different space. It has come back and finished once the dog leaves. I think that's pretty smart! Chairs usually aren't in the same spot under the table every day, but Roomba still vacuums in and around all the kitchen and dining room chairs and tables.Battery life is great. The area I need vacuumed daily is about 500 sq. ft. (my house is a lot larger, but this is the area where the dog is most of the time). After vacuuming the 500 sq. ft. the battery is still half charged when it returns home after completing the job. I do empty the dust container daily after it finishes. Like I said, I have a dog (Great Pyrenes) that sheds a lot, and I have very long hair and shed a bit myself, but I think it could let it go 2 or 3 days before I really have to empty it. It did pick up a paper towel once and notified me that I had to clean the roller, which was easy to do. I got the paper towel out, cleaned it, set it back where it had last been, and it continued on its way.The only reason I'm doing 4 stars instead of 5 is that it doesn't seem to vacuum as efficiently as it could. It goes in and out of rooms, skipping spots, and then goes back in and picks up the spots it missed. It does eventually get to everything, but it takes quite a bit longer than it should, due to passing over some areas two or three times. This is only a minor complaint, but it can be a bit annoying if I'm trying to do something in one of the rooms and have to watch so I don't get in the way. Otherwise, I'm very happy with it and so pleased that I no longer have dog hair floating around everywhere. I'm a busy lady and do not have time to vacuum daily with my upright vacuum. Plus, my dog doesn't mind the Roomba, but he totally hates the upright vacuum!
