Grote43022 Black Universal Steel Offset License Plate Bracket

I didn't know if it would fit on my CB600F, but after bending the top of the bracket (to line up with the holes under the cowl) it fit. I used a vice to bend it and then put bolts into holes. The longest part of the process was reinstalling license plate lights, but that's to be expected with wiring.It works great, but it does hang down a little lower than what I would like. I don't know if this will fit everything right out of the box, but if you can cut or bend metal you can probably get it to fit for a variety of different bikes or trailers.

In Florida, a 50cc scooter like this must be registered as a motorcycle. The TaoTao ATM50-A1 plate mounting bracket appears configured for a wide Asian license plate and the smaller US plate won't fit properly on its bracket cutouts without modifications. But conveniently the mounting holes in the Grote 43022 match up with a pair of unused cutouts in the center of the TaoTao mounting bracket requiring simple drilling into the soft back fender through the TaoTao bracket then installing the Grote bracket with two stainless steel bolts. BTW, sales tax and registration brought total registration cost to $US188.

Used this license plate mount to replace a cheap plastic one that came on my trailer that was broken. Hope this one is more durable.

This is a good license plate bracket. The steel bracket is fairly study but not too sturdy that you won't be able to bend if you need too. It will be strong enough to resist bending from the wind when driving. This bracket is definetly way better than the plastic bracket that I had before.

This is a lot better than the plastic ones. While it will bend you can bend it back to the correct position unlike plastic that just breaks.

This will hold okay but very easy to bend.
