DEBETOOL Cutting Board Oil Applicator with Lid

I used this applicator with cutting board oil and wax to refresh several older wood cutting boards, and it worked great. It made applying the oil and wax quick, easy, and much less messy than using a cloth. I was especially impressed that it held up well and didn't fall apart, even after treating multiple cutting boards. If you regularly maintain wood boards, this is a simple tool that makes the job much easier.

I tried using micro cloths, cloth towels and paper towels and was disappointed with the amount of oil that was wasted when oiling our wooden cutting boards. I decided to try this applicator and was not disappointed. It makes the entire process MUCH easier and gets the oil where it needs to be- into the wood. It halved the time of the process and delivered much better results.

This worked very well for applying wood butter to a few new wooden utensils. I’m not sure how long it will last, especially if buttering a large surface, but it did the job and I will probably just buy another when this one wears out.

It worked perfectly for applying cutting board wax.

I wish I had purchased one of these when I bought my wooden steak plates. I've been applying butcher block wax by hand, and it is messy and I was using a lot of wax each time. Since I use my steak plates several times a week, I was applying wax to them at least twice a week. I just bought this applicator sponge, and let me tell you it has been amazing! Far less messy than applying by hand, and I use a fraction of the wax.

I use this to apply wax on my cutting boards after they've been properly oiled. This is a lot better than using paper towels or microfiber towels since it's less wasteful and easier to use. I like that it comes with its own cap to help keep the applicator clean and protected.

Amazing. I used to have to spread mineral oil over the board with the spine of a knife. This made the chore so much faster a d let me give detailed oiling of spoons and other odd shapes.

I really liked this at the beginning. Sadly the oil will leak through the little holder and soak whatever it's resting on. After maybe 8 or 9 uses the sponge part completely came off of the handle.
