Adds elegance to your invitations
If you’re looking to DIY your own embossing wedding invitations or any invitations this is the machine to buy. It is easy to put together and the quality is very good. It comes with everything you need to start embossing or die cutting. The acrylic plates are heavy weight and not flimsy so your embossing comes out perfect every time. I love the fact that the opening area is larger than most so that if you’re embossing only the corners like I did then your cards will fit right in. There are different thickness plates so you do have to see which ones will make it through the crank and pass through. So if you’re looking to save some money and making your own invitations this is a great purchase. It adds elegance and luxury. It really makes your invitations look expensive.

Great product!!
I had been toying with getting this for awhile. I bought the 9" and am very happy with it. I can send 2 embossing folders through at the she time. I can also, do many die cuts at once. Spend the extra, its worth it! One run through cutting and embossing. Super easy to use. Love it! I searched the internet for all kinds of hints and tricks to help me. I'm glad I did! I have a problem with wear and tear on the things I own so I search for ways to delay it. One tip I found to avoid a marked up plate was to use a cutting mat (the dollar tree mats are too soft and don't work) to stop the etching in the plates when die cutting. But the cutting mats are too thick to use all the plates provided. So through some experimenting I found what works for me. I layer my plates like this... All this will depend on the thickness of your cutting mat. 1. 13mm plate 2. 2mm plate (I think switched #'s 2 and 3 in the video 😉. It works either way) 3. $Tree chopping mat, cut to match the other plate sizes 4. Self healing cutting mat 5. Paper 6. Cutting die 7. $ Tree chopping mat, cut to match size of plates 8. 3mm plate. I don't use the second 3mm plate. For embossing I layer my plates the same as cutting dies but I don't use the self healing cutting mat. 13mm, 2mm, chopping mat, Embossing folder, chopping mat, 3mm. Again, I don't use the second 3mm plate. You won't regret this purchase.

Fits even large dies.
Works great. Large enough for die cutting large cards.

A workhorse that can go where you go.
This hand-crank die cutter is a workhorse. I have extensively used it to cut delicate designs to large, multiple pieces. I do not have any issues with different thicknesses of embossing folders either. The key are the shims that I use to make the proper pressure for whatever it is that I am cutting. I always use the solid white plastic plate. From there I will use either the 3mm or the 2mm plexiglass sheet, a piece of copier paper, my card stock with the die facing cutting side down, two or three more sheets of copier paper, another plexiglass sheet, and if the die is very thin, then very thin plastic food cutting "boards" at the top of the stack. Do Not force too thick of a stack as this might cause damage to the cutter. Another tip is when cutting a die with little extra paper to spare, use a tiny piece of scotch tape to tape the die down. I like the die cutter's light weight and compact design. Hand crank, so I am not bothered by cords or electricity issues.

Perfect little die cut and embossing machine
This is a replacement for a small die-cutting/embossing machine that I have worn out with heavy use. It is good to have one that is similar to take it's place. The price was very reasonable.

Info for a Beginner
Finally had a chance to try this product. It worked well, but the instructions were awful for a beginner. The instructions were blue ink on blue paper. Had to take a magnifying glass to read, and then retype them, so I would remember them. Comes with an extra screw for the handle. For a beginner, die cuts do etch the plate, so eventually these will need to be replaced. The included butterfly die cut is very detailed and the cut out gets stuck in the die cut. Need a roller brush with the other end pointed ( not included) to get out small pieces. An even better tip I saw online was to take the paper stuck to a die cut on to 8 folds thick to dryer paper, put 3 mm cover sheet on top, then roll through machine again. The paper is not stuck to the dryer sheet and can be easily pulled off. The embossing worked well, but found the instructions said to place a 3 mm sheet on top. This would not run through the machine, so placed the 2 mm sheet on top instead.
