A good laser for dry firing
I have been considering getting a firearm. I've rented a few different handguns at a local range to see what might fit my large hands the best, but at $100 a session for range fee/weapon rental/ammunition that adds up much too quickly. I did learn that a full sized 1911 fits me reasonably well, especially if I could put spacers under the grips (which is certainly possible)I picked up a Springfield Armory 1911 Mil-Spec bb gun to play around with, and it is an adequate representation of the real deal. Reasonably accurate up to about 10 yards. Costs are way more reasonable than purchasing real ammo, but it would be nice to be able to practice shooting without the noise. That's where this laser comes in.Most of the laser devices I've found were either cartridges of various calibers or ones that clipped to a picatinny rail. There are no laser cartridges in a .177 caliber (bb size) and my bb gun does not have a picatinny rail. The only reasonable option would be a laser that slides into the front of the barrel. And this product is just about perfect. It slides into the front of the barrel and is held on with magnets. It briefly flashes the laser when it senses the sound of the trigger. Certainly seems like it's lined up almost perfectly with the barrel and all of my shots are grouped in a surprisingly small area. I'm sure the grouping will get tighter as I improve. I have no reason to believe that there's any play in the laser, at least once it's properly inserted into the barrel. In my case, the bb gun has a smooth barrel rather than the usual rifled one. The laser could be just a hair tighter in there. Also, the end of the barrel has a much larger opening, likely to make it look more like an authentic 1911. The magnet on the laser really doesn't hold onto the front of the gun very well and I need to push the laser back in every now and again. But, I'm not holding that against this laser product. I'm sure it would work very well with .177 pellet guns that weren't trying to look like a .45 ACP handgun. Eventually I'll make a metal plug for the barrel with a small hole in the center. That should give the laser more material for its magnets to attach to, and I'm sure it'll work perfectly then. For the most part I'm using an app to show how well I'm shooting. I found one I'm happy to start with, although there are a number that I downloaded and have yet to try. But even without any app, the red laser dot flash can easily show you what you were aiming at when you pulled the trigger. Works well for general plinking around the home or yard. This is a very nice device that comes in many different caliber sizes. If your handgun or rifle can be safely dry fired, this is a great way to practice your aiming and trigger pulls without having to go to the range. It's also easier to install than probably most cartridge versions, and aims exactly as the barrel does, unlike those lasers that attach above or below the barrel.Well worth the cost.

Machined very well and holds Zero
I originally purchased the 308 version and it worked great in two rifles. the magnets are self centering on the barrel and if I rotate the unit it still holds zero which is impressive. When I was reading the reviews it appears that was not the case with some of the reviewers which had me concerned and now it makes me think its not the device, its the machining on the crown that is off on those rifles.I purchased the .22 version for my AR and was worried that my flash hider would not work with it but it did as the magnets self centered even though only the tip was barely inserted in the barrel. This also holds zero if I were to rotate it and I think its because of the flash hider is precisely made. The reason why I am writing this review is another discovery that is not mentioned anywhere. I have a two stage trigger and normally with the Accurize device or any other device you have to reset the trigger each time but for some reason I can slap the trigger lightly with the take up without having to reset the trigger and it will activate the laser since it is very sensitive compared to the 308 version. There is a delay between shots but it is the closest thing to having something like the Mantis Black Beard which I originally wanted but was hesitant to get because of some of the mechanical issues associated with it. I do not have the break of the trigger obviously but it is still a good training tool since I do not have to lose my sight picture.

Almost perfect for Glock 19 gen 5 MOS
I have been trying to find the perfect dry fire laser to use with my Laserlyte Score Tyme target. The first one I tried was the Laserlyte 9mm cartridge. This was no good as the LCI (loaded chamber indicator) rests against the laser cartridge while it is in the chamber, and throws the laser off just slightly and makes it appear that all of your shots are going high and right. I then ordered this and the Laserlyte laser trainer universal. This was delivered first. Positives: It functions perfectly. After following firearm safety to ensure your gun is not loaded- you simply turn it on, pop it in your barrel, dry fire at your target, rack your slide, rinse and repeat. This is laser 100% accurate. I have a zeroed Holosun EPS on my Glock so I know the laser functioning perfectly on target.Negative: what keeps this from a 5 star review and why I will test the Laserlyte trainer universal and return the one I rate worse, is that when I rack the slide of my pistol, sometimes the laser will get stuck on the guide rod assembly and spring so every time I pull the slide back I have to do so carefully and even then it happens every 4th or fifth time I do it.All in all- if you have a Glock that has an LCI, and you want to dry fire practice using a laser, the cartridges are no good as they will be off target. I would definitely recommend this product- just be careful when you pull back on the slide.

Great product
Works as advertised. Provides a clear dot with the sound of each firing pin actuation. Works with my iTarget Pro system. Magnet holds laser securely. Reasonable accuracy allows good dry fire practice with a rifle. Recommend.

Also works perfect for 5.7 x28
Works with my AR and 22s . It was the only option available for the 5.7 x 28 cartridge. Perfect in every respect

It's too short!
It just wobbles around. It's about a half inch from tracking the barrel. Very disappointing!

Expensive, impractical, faulty!
First thing is the price. It costs more than double of a normal laser cartridge. If it worked reliably you could still live with it, because there are no other Caliber.22 cartridges. The biggest problem is that it goes of while recocking the bolt EVERY TIME, but not every time you shoot.Even if you put the rifle away from the target, cock the bolt action, wait (or it will not work if you are too fast) and point it back on the target, aim and shoot. It ruins every score/time!!!So there is no way that professionals use this. Don't believe a word they tell us in their discription.Just use a different gun/caliber for training and don't buy this one, because it is technically impossible to achieve a realistic and fast time with this product.

Präzise aber teuer...
Es gibt leider keine günstigere Alternative, da es keine 22LR Laser-Laufpatrone gibt. Ist dafür aber sehr präzise und funktioniert bei jedem Schuss.
