Fender FA-25CE Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar, Walnut Fingerboard, Natural

Brilliant guitar for beginners and looks good . The sound is excellent it's my 2nd guitar and my playing has improved

I read and studded the bad reviews and none was about playability all were damaged goods, so I made the choice and orderd one.It arrived next day and sure enough there were small holes in the box so fingers crossed I opened it and there was the fender in another box, this box had one small hole in it, so fingers crossed I took the guitar out of the genuine fender box and scrutinised it no damage whatsoever ever and it was pretty well set up so I popped the battery in that came with and 2 minutes later I was banging out a few tunes after about half an hour later it went out of tune so retuned it and it's been ok since and I practise everyday for a couple of hours, day 3 I broke the A string but instead of putting one on I changed the lot for D'addario XS phosper bronze 12.54 slightly smaller than the fender strings 😀 It made a tremendous change it sounds so sweet with little finger noise really bright using a pick, mellow if your finger picking for a sub £150 guitar it sounds very very good, like I said it came pretty well set up, but not perfect the action was slightly high a quarter turn ont rod it was sorted, new D'addario XS strings it now out preforms some guitars that cost 3 × the amount this cost me.I can only see this going one way as it's a new addition to the fender range and that way is up so grab one while you can while there on promotion I can see this hitting the £200 mark pretty swiftly, it is just a joy to pick up and play and I just love the six in line it makes tuning a breeze especially if you are just getting into it and taking lessons be it in person or on line and this little beauty comes with 30 days free access to fender play well worth it, yes I did try it after all it were free and I can say it will have you playing on your first day with simple Rifts. And it also looks like amazon are listening by putting the box in a box so it arrives safely 👍 grab one you won't be disappointed 😉

Out of the box it wasn't great (3 stars), but after I set it up (took a while), its quickly becoming my go to guitar (4+ Star).So an average 4 star from me.Recommended if you're pretty competent in setting up an acoustic guitar, as I needed to lower the action by 2mm by sanding down the bridge at least 4mm and that improved the intonation also a lot for me also.Acoustically its lovely and plugged in its very nice.So for the price its a big yes from me.

Very nice beginner guitar, it’s my first one and I don’t really know what I’m doing but I’m having a lot of fun trying things. Build quality is good for the price, feels sturdy and the built in tuner is very handy for setting it up. For the money I think it’s a great option. Initially I bought the 2 tone sunburst one but I didn’t really like the colour, thought it looked a little cheap so I returned it for the natural one and I love it, looks much better in my opinion.

Lovely finish and a good addition to my collection. Has a different tone to a standard Dreadnought, so be aware of that. The styling makes it a unique item for me. Only minor criticism is that the saddle was a little bit rough, you could hear the strings pull across the rough bits when tuning. I just smoothed these down a little and all was good. The tone is a little different to something like a F310 as it seems sharper, while the F310 is a little warmer. Other than that you are going to have to pay a lot more. Fantastic guitar for the price.

Arrived on time and well packaged. Wanted an acoustic with electronic pickup to play as an alternative to my electric guitars.. This guitar is not costly but feels and plays well. Would be good for a beginner or, like me, additional to my electric guitars. For the price, can't real go wrong. Would definitely recommend buying if this is what you are looking for.

It looks and sounds beautiful. I am very pleased wirh this guitar.
