The instructions say to apply it between shampooing and conditioning and rinse it off but I just use it liberally while my hair is dry, out of the shower, and leave it in and it works great. (FYI it's NOT a gel, it's liquid.) Doesn't leave residue of any kind. The applicator helps target specific areas too. I hope they never change this formula. Highly, highly recommend.

Ok, I’m not sure I have ever left a product review on Amazon, but just had to for this product. This stuff is AMAZING!!!! I have long, thick, course hair and can barely ever brush it. Literally, I have to let it air dry, run my finger through forever before I can even think about putting a brush to it. I took a trip to Cabo and with the pool chemicals and the ocean water, my hair was a DISASTER! I looked for anything that would get the gross smell out and settled on this product. To my surprise, my hair was amazingly silky, I ran a brush right through it while wet and the smell came out of my hair! I am sold!!! I’ve even told my hairdresser as I do the expensive kerastatase treatments.

This product cleansed my scalp. I used this first then I used a scalp serum from another brand. This is great for between washes and if you just want your scalp to feel fresh.

I have a really itchy scalp due to pregnancy, but this doesn’t seem to do anything for me. It’s easy to apply and smells nice. It feels good in the moment, but my scalp still itches a lot through the day.

I am so happy with this tea tree and rosemary scalp serum. I was diagnosed with psoriasis this past spring and had the itchiest scalp ever. While I still haven't got the flakiness under control, this serum has completely gotten the itchiness under control , using it twice a week. I love the tingling scalp when I apply it. I highly recommend this product for anyone suffering the itching associated with psoriasis.

Beast after shampoo rinse for smooth hair. I use this after every other shampoo and before I deep condition. My scalp is so clean and conditioned afterwards.
