Fast and Easy to Control for 5-Year-Old
My son really likes this RC Drift Car. It is one of his favorites and is really easy for him to control because of the way the wheels and controls work. He likes the included smoke effect and lighting as well. It's pretty fast, but not too fast so he can play with it indoors.... which brings us to the one thing that my wife doesn't like about the car. It is pretty loud when it moves. It drives her nuts!

This is a fun car.
I have a few smaller remote control cars. I like to drive them inside the house, so they can't be too big. The problem is that they are all mostly the same in that they have standard rubber wheels that grip the floor and maneuver well, but they don't really skid or drift the corners. I buy remote cars for my Grandkids, but really, I get them so I can drive them! This car is actually built for drifting and it still has a good amount of control. The wheels have these weird beads on them that make the car slide side-to-side quite easily. Now when I drive the car around the corner, it has the proper drift. The drift also makes for a more interesting maneuver around the obstacles I have set up on the indoor track(hallway and dining room). This car is now my favorite RC car. It is a lot of fun.

My sister loves it.
My sister is a grown up kid and loves toys. When I saw this remote control car available as a promotional I ordered it. She tried it out, it really goes well. I think it will be good for any kid with a basic remote skills. We are going to try to use it as a lure to get the dogs to run once she gets more skilled and manuvering it and the dogs stop being scared of it. I will update my review after she's played with it more.

My students got so excited at this prize
I had the car working in the classroom. I'm a bit clumsy at it but the 9 year old boys got so excited. They have to earn points for behavior and are jealously saving up for the big Electric Scooter prize at the end of the year. But this car loosened some "purse strings" and the bidding was vigorous. It went for the highest points price of any item to date.I am trying to teach them the concept of "saving". Some of them get it, others were enticed by this prize and lost their discipline. One boy has over 1000 points and will knock out bid the scooter, so the boy who won this calculated he may as well get something decent.Grade three banking....
