If Apple made a popcorn popper it wouldn't be this nice.
This is a stunningly beautiful and well-made product that does exactly what it promises. It allows you to easily make top quality popcorn from home. I'm a huge popcorn nut and I've never seen anything else like this on the market. I've already made several batches with my family and we've devoured with delight. It's been fun to let my kids help and best of all, it's an opportunity to connect and do something fun as a family with a delicious outcome. Their popcorn kits make it super easy (the kettle corn in particular is delicious), but you can just make any popcorn you buy at the store work with it too. I'm already thinking of creative possibilities for add-ins and other seasonings. It's easy to clean, dishwasher safe, and works on my induction range. It's not too heavy, but clearly sturdy and high quality. It's so beautiful I've let it sit out on my counter to dress up my kitchen a little. :)

Great popper quality and works as good as it looks. Wish it was less expensive.
I'm a total popcorn nerd and was super skeptical about the price of this popper. However, it is better than I expected. Very solid and heats exceptionally even. The stir mechanism is very smooth, and the fit and finish of the lid is great. This is reliable and the best in the market of stirred pan poppers. The looks, finish and performance is better than any of the cheap competitors. Is it worth the price...no...will I probably buy another one as a special gift, yes. Is it better than a regular pot to pop corn in, yes. Easy clean up too. Highly recommend if you can fit it into the budget...

Great quality- worth the price!
I love this popcorn popper so much. I’ve used it for month, no issues. Perfectly popped popcorn every time. It washes up easily too. Built very well. Everything about this makes me happy when I use it…even the packaging when it arrived! The carrier goofed up my original delivery. Popsmith has great customer service and made it right. Definitely recommend this popcorn popper and company.

It's expensive, but I really like it and it's worth it to me, but...
So I love the construction, no sharp edges to cut me like the whirly pop, I love how it works (much better than the whirly pop, IMHO). But as others have commented, the enamel is flawed. Mine is not really bad as some have been, but there are a couple places where the enamel is chipped. That's why I gave it four stars. On how it works, the stirrer works very smoothly; I really like how the crank is on the top rather than in the handle. The weight is very manageable without being flimsy. And it cleans up very easily, all parts come apart. The popcorn pops flawlessly in it; and it definitely works on induction. One warning: make sure the paddle is positioned so it won't come out when you pour the popcorn out of the popper. I did that once. It's wasn't a catastrophe, but it was a learning experience. I'm very, very happy with it. And I use clarified butter when I pop my popcorn. None of that fake stuff.

Expensive disappointment - popcorn like cardboard with burned taste
I bought this Popsmith Popcorn Popper in Mint, paying a premium price for what looked like a quality product built like a tank. I thought it would last a lifetime and produce great popcorn. Unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. I tried it today following the manufacturer's directions exactly. The resulting popcorn was like extremely tough cardboard with a vaguely burned taste - completely inedible. There were also lots of unpopped kernels left in the bottom. For the price point of this popper, the results are unacceptable. A simple air popper produces far better popcorn at a fraction of the cost. The build quality may be solid, but that doesn't matter if it can't perform its basic function of making edible popcorn. I'm returning this and replacing it with an air popper. I give it 1 star, and if I could give less, I would. Save your money and buy a basic air popper instead - you'll get much better results.

Really enjoying popcorn
Easy to use, works well, and easy to clean in dishwasher. Kits are convenient and tasty. Like using real ingredients and have stopped making microwave popcorn. Also, looks really nice and is sturdy.

Don’t buy this
Two stars only because it looks really good and the mechanism is much better than the traditional whirlypop, it makes decent popcorn but everything else sucks, it’s top is domed so oil comes out and runs down the sides onto your burner, it makes a huge mess, pouring popcorn out is a nightmare, it’s way too hard to make popcorn now, it’s honestly worth nothing to me I just want another whirleypop, please save your money buy the tried and true whirleypop this one is gonna be gone once people realize is all marketing and the product is terribly engineered
