I bought this dress to wear to my first-ever Jane Austen Ball that my exchange student’s teacher puts on annually. I’m going to use this dress for every costume and future Regency inspired event for the rest of my life!First off, this dress is insanely comfortable. It fits true to size and is cut in such a way that nothing pinches, pulls, or feels uncomfortable in any way whatsoever. I was in bliss all night and was able to dance freely the whole time.The dress made me feel graceful, too! There’s nothing like a flowing skirt to make a woman feel like she’s floating past her fellow dancers. Thankfully, it didn’t drag on the ground, so it was the perfect combination of flow and usability/safety.I got TONS of compliments! The fabric is high quality and simply pretty. Of course it’s not 100% legit as though it had been made in the Regency era (it has elastic and a zipper, for example), but I’d rather have the modern conveniences and get dressed easily. Still, it’s not “costumey”—it’s a real dress!Can we please bring back Regency dresses?To the manufacturer: well done!

Its not exactly historically accurate but my daughter loves it and it fits her pretty well. Its a bit big in the chest bc of the elastic and she’s only 11 but she is quite tall for her age (5’1”) and it hits her a little longer than ankle length which was the style of the regency period

I saw this dress (in pink) on a woman at a local Jane Austen event. I was impressed with the fabric - looks like a period-perfect sprigged cotton - and when she said it was from Amazon, I knew I would need one, too! I ordered the pale yellow in small (I wear a size 8), and amazingly it fit perfectly right out of the bag; I'm only 5'3", so a lot of dresses need shortening. It does have a zipper, but it wasn't necessary as the waistline is stretchy, and I could pull the dress right over my head. All I needed to do was hand-stitch the seam closed to cover the zipper, for a more period-correct appearance. A lovely little dress, and so comfortable!

This was an excellent dress for my daughter to play Lydia in our community theater production of Pride and Prejudice. The color is a lovely pale pink, and the fabric has textured dots so it doesn't have to be kept perfectly ironed to look appropriate. She purchased and wore a gauze filler in the neckline for her own personal modesty's sake, but the neckline was generally reasonable anyway. We did have to shorten the dress by about 6 inches for her safety (because her character runs up and down stairs and moves quickly on stage), making it just ankle length, and she is 5'3" and wore 1.5-2" heels. (Dresses in the Regency era were not floor-length anyway!) The bodice is lined, and the construction seems quality. The waistline is stretchy, and we had to pin the ribbon belt in place so it wouldn't wrinkle up from being tied too tightly, but this was a comfortable dress that actually survived a delicate machine wash and tumble air dry. Definitely recommend for costuming or for cosplay at Regency events!

I CAN'T BELIEVE I was sent this dress. It was so balled up in the plastic, the gloves are dirty and the dress smells like body odor. Not happy.

I got this dress for my daughter’s birthday and it looks amazing. The dress is of great quality and the fabric is very nice, it looks just like the picture. It also comes with gloves. It fit perfectly, my daughter is very short and the dress was the perfect length. I would definitely recommend it.

I ordered this for a Bridgerton style bridal shower and it was a hit. The dress was very comfortable and had ample room in the chest though the arms hit me ( I have slender arms) I could see how they might be tight on others. The dress was light and not too warm for Florida weather, however I had to wear nude undergarments or they would have shown. The ribbon and the white gloves really tied in the look.

Price was great, quality is better than expected. Fit was a tad bigger but I prefer the extra room. I can't wait to wear it to my event. My son said woah! Cool dress mom. It came with gloves too. Can't beat an all in one purchase. Made my day.

Many compliments, nice material for an Amazon purchase. Size runs smaller, recommend sizing up a one or two size depending on the fit you prefer.

This is exactly what I was looking for to participate in a Jane Austen afternoon in Bath. I love the flow.
