We purchased similar items locally and returned multiple sets since the bulbs did not work or half the string worked. This product was well packaged and better made than local options. Every bulb worked and even comes with additional bulbs as backup.

This is the second strand of this product I have purchased from the same company. I have two condominiums one on top of the other and I string these around the balcony. You can see the light from about a mile away. Easy to put together and plug-in. Plus, it has the option to insert another strand into it.

Been looking at lightning for a while. Most of the ones I’ve seen are very cheaply made. Took a chance ordering these and wow they are amazing. Very good construction and looks like they will be around for a long time. The bulbs are completely replaceable. You can buy a box for spares for less than $20. Much better than the old glorified Christmas lights. I am also impressed that when you link two sets together, the spacing stays consistent with the spacing between the other bulbs. I will say the rubber seals on the sockets are a bit tight (a good thing) so you do have to put a little bit of pressure on the bulb to screw it in. Overall very impressed with these lights.

After two days, one-half of a string came on by itself, and in some animation mode I had not used. The remote control would turn on the other half of the string, and turn the unaffected half of the lights off, but would not control "independent" part of the string. The app had the same effect as the remote - only controlled half of the string. The only way to turn the lights off was to unplug them.Feit Support responded three days after I contacted them, telling me to return the string.In the meantime, I tried to swap the first bulb of the half of the string that wouldn't turn off. Even though that particular bulb was always on, replacing it fixed the problem.A second string of lights started doing the same thing, but with a different animation. Replacing the first bulb in the section that could not be controlled with the remote or the app fixed the problem.Other things like increasing the wifi signal, changing the electrical source of the affected string to an entirely different circuit, deleting the string from the app and re-adding it, did not help at all.Leaving this lengthy review in the hopes that it helps someone else - Feit support could not figure it out.

Lasted over a year and still working - has endured rough winds etc

This is a replacement for the exact same Feit string lights that I currently have. They’ve been mounted on my deck railing for the past 6 or 7 years, 24-7, but have finally begun to fail. The harsh Minnesota winters aren’t the best for these, and some of the metal connector tabs inside the socket have weakened and come off. No complaints against Feit; I got 7 years of use out of them and it’s nice to start over with brand new lights.

The first time I bought these, after a few weeks the unit would just start blinking on and off in the middle of the night. I did all the stuff from the FAQ and it kept happening so I contacted the company and they told me to bring it back to the store I bought it from and swap it out for another.Second unit lasted a little over a year - just until it was out of warranty - and then just completely stopped working. I reached out to the company again and they were no help at all. Eventually I made enough noise that they issued me a refund, except they shorted me the full price of the unit and then argued with me about it.I have a few of their other products and they're mostly fine but having to deal with this level of terrible customer support - especially on something that costs $100 - has ensured I'll never buy anything else from them. For comparison, both Cree and Phillips were much more helpful when I needed help with their products.

Got these to hang in my greenhouse to help with warmth and also light. I used Plant Grow bulbs during the winter, and it worked out great! Water resistant, and when hooked up to my timer, it worked out great!
