Very effective in keeping pigeons away. Have fitted the Spikes on plastic mats purchased from Amazon and rolled out on top of AC unit and at places in the balcony where pigeons like to sit. Also ties to the AC unit mounting bracket. Did not try to to block entry points which are too many. Initially pigeons came by habit to sit but got poked by the spikes and have never returned.
