Clutch
Works as expected on my Duromax 440 but be prepared to also purchase different weights and springs because this clutch will engage on idle with even slightly modified engines.

It's OK but could be alot better
The media could not be loaded. Well for starters it's big and needs spacers it comes with no instructions on how to install properly if you put it on a 420cc predator engine it still engages while in idle meaning it will try to pull off without you pressing the gas you would to lower the idle all the way and put your brakes on to prevent it from taking off maybe change the jets on your carburetor try to get the. Rpms low as i possible. I put mine in a yamaha g22 electric golf cart to convert it to gas so you may have better luck then me it's still better then the 40 series clutch Chinese knock off that one got stuck open on me soon as I got it out the box I hope this review helps somebody.

Epic...ly lame
so after some research into the spring/weight dynamics of these clutches, I can safely say these are set to engage at something like 1100rpm.. between the (VERY weak) black springs and the 86g weights. technically those weights are fine if you upgrade to yellow springs, you'll be in the low 1800rpms for clutch engagement. as it is after using this clutch for maybe 20m of driving I noticed there is some severe wear on the inside. The bolts on the outside silver ring were loose but thats a separate issue I believe as there is a snap ring that holds the outer clutch cover in place. regardless they do help control the sheave to center connection. Long story short this is a cheap clutch that doesnt really work like its supposed to but does work. If youre popping it on a custom gx390 like I was and its engaging the second the engine starts up, you should probably check your springs and weights and buy upgrades as needed. Hopefully this core wont wear through. Good luck..update: yellow genuine comet springs (while incredibly difficult to install) were exactly what I needed, cart shifts ideally now though the clutch itself sometimes gets stuck in the 'locked' position.. the outer ring bolts were much more damaged than initially realized, highly recommend swapping to grade 8 or 10.8 (theyre 8.8 so thats what, a grade 5?) one sheared when reinstalling halfway in with literally no force on it so.. broken when pulled and I didnt notice. but hey I can always buy a second and maybe even third one of these with the money I saved when this one breaks x_x
