Jon Bon Jovi : The Biography

Well written book. Laura has a great vocabulary and the book is a smooth, easy read. I can see why Laura was chosen to write the book. She's good with words. The problem is that the book is more of a glorification and chronology/history of what Jon did and the exact dates. This book lacks any "inside scoop" on Jon or the band. Jon Bon Jovi is a very private person and it's mentioned several times in this book. If you are looking for stories about wild parties, drugs, scandals, etc. you will be disappointed. There are none mentioned here. It's a history book about how great Jon Bon Jovi's accomplishments are, and when and where they occurred. I'm still glad I bought the book used for 6.95. I would not want to pay the full new price for this book.

I found the information on how the "Band" was formed interesting. I also have a new respect for the tenacity and determination of Mr. Jon Bon Jovi. And for the rest of the Band. They all have talents they pursue outside of Bon Jovi! A quick and fascinating read!

I bought this book biography because Bonjovi is the sexiest man alive!!!! I wanted it for my collection

Being a Bon Jovi fan my whole, I love that I can read about this Amazing man's Life. Its a wonderful experience reading about what has shaped this artist into the man that he is today!

LOVE Jon Bon Jovi and thought I knew all of his story-WRONG!! This man has, clearly, worked long and hard to acheive the success that he has and yet, doesn't forget his family or to give back in appreciation for all that has come from his hard work. Grabbed me from Page 1 and engrossed me until the end. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to all Rock fans but, most especially to Jon's fans who will enjoy and appreciate him, his band mates and their achievements even more than they did before reading this book!! :)

Fantastic read for any fan of Bon Jovi. I learnt things I didn't know about the man behind the band and the band themselves. The piccys were amazing. I am passing this on to my best friend who is also a BJ fan to read.

I Love Jon Bon Jovi, reason why I bought this book, but the way it has been written is boring and tiresome...

This book was a disappointment. I loved Bon Jovi when I was a teenager in the 80’s. I feel like my lovely memories of the band have been tainted by the way Jon is portrayed in this book. I almost feel depressed reading it. Hard to explain why. I regret buying it now. Lots of dates and not much inside info.

Interesting to read about the ideas and beginnings of the man who fronted the biggest band. The determination, the whole band selection process. I really enjoyed this book, would love to read more about Bon Jovi.

Clean Bon Jovi, the story is as expected by the narrative was quite dull to read. By the 3/4th I was bored. I look forward to the autobiography!
