My husband and adult son have been going through my husband's collection of sportscards, cards collected over five decades.This kit has helped them more accurately assess what the various cards are likely worth.It's not an overly complicated kit, with good instructions for use.It's a compact kit, not taking up much space - which is good because the cards take up a shelf on their own.My husband likes that he can get a rough idea of what each card is worth, before he takes them an hour away for valuation and possible sale.He also likes that he is learning how cards are graded, so he's more informed when he does to talk to a buyer.It's a great kit.

I recently acquired this set mainly for the magnifying glass, as I needed a reliable tool for some detailed, small-scale work. The magnifying glass performs well - it offers a clear and sharp view, which makes it quite useful for my projects. The extra magnification tools also seem handy and portable, which adds to the convenience.The additional items in the kit, especially the card centering grading tools, are an interesting inclusion. While I'm not heavily into sports card grading, I can see how these would be useful for collectors aiming for precision. i have to say this this is a really nice set up to have for those that really want to deep dive into their card collection.... the magnifying stand is very nice (runs via a usb power cord or 3AAA batteries).... also the microfibers are perfect for removing any fingerprints before sending cards out to be graded.... i had a few cards that after looking at them much closer i am 100% going to send them off to be graded now... the additional jewelers loop is a very nice addition to get in that much closer at spots.... but over all the lighted stand gets everything large enough to be able to see any flaws or fingerprints you might want to clean.... i cant say much for the gloves as i have others i use when handling cards that need gloves.... over all it is a cool little kit and nice for any serious card collector

Everything in the kit is very nice and gets your feet wet into grading cards and what not but everything is also very flimsy and cheap and just not gonna last. Like I said it's not a bad little kit to get your feet wet or maybe check a few cards here and there but that's really all it will last in my optinion

I first have to say that I did not get this to grade baseball cards but to use on jewelry and engraving, so I can't speak to the quality of those particular tools. I will say that the magnifying glass is awesome, either battery-powered or USB-powered. With the large glass, I can see the entire piece and zoom in on the details with the smaller built-in size, it is very adjustable as well. The loupe is also very nice, it is very clear and great for those super close up needs. I recommend this item for those two alone. It also comes with white gloves which is also nice for me as once my piece is polished, I don't get fingerprints everywhere.

The media could not be loaded. This is an awesome little at home kit/bundle for grading or inspecting your own cards. It’ll give you an idea of what kind of grade you collectible may hold.It comes with a nifty adjustable light up magnifying glass that can either be used plugged in via usb, or with 3 AAA batteries. I won’t ever use the batteries. I will only plug it in. So, I can’t rate this on battery life. But, the light has two brightness settings and they’re both great.It also comes with 3 microfiber clothes, a set of white cloth gloves, black surgical gloves, a jewelers loupe, centering cards, and a PSA grading standards chart.This was a great start for me as I’m just now beginning to dabble in “grading” my own collection before sending them out.
