It arrived really quickly. The quality looked promising. I liked the cord length because my closest outlet was a little further away from where I wanted my doorbell. I installed it as soon as I got it, it was pretty easy, and not even an hour after installation, I got a notification saying the batteries were low and that I needed to replace them, so major thumbs down on that. Super disappointed in the fact that it didn't function as promised. So 1 star for that. Edit update: After a week of installation, the lower battery notification went away and it's been working really well without issues. It's now Oct 22, so exactly 3 months later since my first review so i'm bumping the stars up from 1. So I guess just give it some time to see if the low-battery notification will go away, before you consider returning it etc. I'm glad I was not in any mood to uninstall it right away after seeing the low-battery notification for a whole week, otherwise I wouldn't have known that it was going to kick in eventually.

This power supply works well for running the Blink doorbell and I no longer have to buy expensive batteries. My biggest pro for this is that other than during power outages, I no longer experience the sudden loss of the doorbell and camera when it's needed the most. My installation is one with the doorbell attached to the door rather than the wall beside the door frame. I have placed aluminum tape (for metal ducts) over the flat cable as it goes round the backside of the door, between the hinges, for protection against pinching the wires. There is a large loop of cable (about 1.5" diameter) between the door and the frame to allow the door to open without overly stressing the cable.

I was tired of replacing batteries so I looked into an alternate power source. Possibly even a solar source. From what I understand the solar adapters that go with this specific doorbell we're not too reliable so I opted for the hardwire. The cord itself is extremely long so if you need to run it into your house to a power source it's perfect. I have not had an issue since it's been plugged in. And my camera stays on all the time now without any notifications of the battery dying.

I was skeptical of this working for my blink door camera I was having trouble with the cord going around the door, I couldn't lock my door right finally I had to literally make it lay flat for the door to close right. I also have a security bar for the camera that goes for the door so they can't steal the camera that also made it a little difficult but I put it through the inside and made it lay flat to have my door closed right so far so good I'm tired of spending $20 on lithium batteries a month.

I HATE BLINK ECOSYSTEM but Amazon algorithm made me buy it. It kept me giving me super sales, after buying my first Echo. It almost gave me the first doorbell for free… so I fell on it and bought fixed cameras, Pan and tilt ones… but the biggest scam is the doorbell. It’s slow, buggy and requires lithium AA batteries, after wasting 35$ of batteries in less than year, also damaging the mount of the doorbell for this constant battery change I ended up wiring and soldering a 3,7V DC power source and cable to the doorbell. . . Couple months later the doorbell died. . . But since already was stuck on the Blink Ecosystem bought a new doorbell and ordered right away this cable. . . This power adapter and cable is the only good investment made on this Blink junk. If you are stuck as I am. Buy cables and power adapter for all the cameras, the disposable energizer lithium batteries is a completely stupid approach for this company. They should use 16850 rechargeable ones. . .

Best investment. Don't have to deal with a dead door bell any more. No more buying batteries. Installation is simple. Durable and quality is worth more than the cost

It just stopped working after 2 months and no way to return as well. No quality. Buy it at own risk

The battery cord is so great don't have to worry about changing battery all the time my doorbell is on my gate
