I use this mainly for sous vide, with the occasional round of vacuum packing and freezing, and it’s been spot on for both. The seal is strong and consistent, and I’ve never had a bag fail mid cook, which is really the main thing you want when something is about to spend hours in hot water. It handles liquids well too, as long as you’re sensible about it, and the controls are straightforward rather than trying to be clever. For freezing, it’s equally solid. Meat, leftovers, bulk buys all seal tightly and store neatly, without air sneaking back in later. Bags stay sealed and don’t mysteriously puff up in the freezer after a few days. It’s easy to use, quick to seal, and doesn’t take up an unreasonable amount of counter or cupboard space. After a lot of use it’s still behaving exactly as it should, which I consider high praise for kitchen gadgets. Pros: Strong, reliable seals Excellent for sous vide Works well for freezing Simple controls, no learning curve Cons: Makes you feel obliged to buy food in bulk If you cook sous vide regularly or want a dependable vacuum sealer for freezing, this is a solid bit of kit and good value for money. I’d happily replace it with the same one if I ever needed to.

Really pleased with this, it looks good enough to deserve a place in my kitchen, seems to be well made and has so far worked very well. But in addition, despite being made in China actually has a quality manual written in really good English that is very clear and easy to understand. The 5 years warranty also makes it a very attractive purchase.

I am really impressed with this Mesliese vacuum sealer. I was using it within 15 minutes of receiving it. The instructions are easy to follow and the bags that come with it nice and strong. I need to seal a whole cheese round and it sealed it really well. It is also a good size making it easy to store when not in use. It’s not as noisy as some of my appliances. It may be a bit more expensive that other brands but with a 5 year warranty I think it’s value for money.

The first machine didn’t work but it was quickly exchanged and a replacement delivered next day.. Early days but it works well and seems well made

Great quality product, well made and easy to store, strong vacuum and comes with a selection of bags and rolls to start you off. Not the cheapest machine but when you consider that you get a 5 year warranty it works out quite reasonable. This is my first vacuum sealer and I am very happy with the build quality and ease of use. I would recommend this machine.

Very happy with this Mesliese vacuum sealer. Very efficient and sturdy. It’s compact and easily storable off the countertop in a drawer. The only slight niggle I have is that I find the supplied cutter for vacuum bag rolls is a bit difficult to take out of its slot, and a bit fiddly to produce a clean and accurate cut. Nevertheless this doesn’t detract from the sealer’s performance, which is excellent. I thoroughly recommend it.

Dit is onze eerste vacumeermachine en tot nu toe bevalt hij erg goed. De machine heeft alles om direct te kunnen gaan vacumeren. Twee rollen, voorbereide zakken en een paar onderdelen ter vervanging als er iets stuk gaat. Zowel kwetsbare als niet kwetsbare gerechten vacumeert hij goed. Opletten als je vocht mee vacumeert, dan moet je de zak lager houden dan de machine (of de machine optillen). Zou er zo weer een machine van Melisse aanschaffen.

machine compacte facile à ranger et efficace pour l'usage attendu. Facile d'utilisation avec une bnne capacité d'aspiration que ce soit pour les sacs ou les boites de stockage d'aliments équipées de soupapes à vide. Très satisfait dès la première utilisation... Seul petit bémol je crains au fil du temps d'égarer le petit coupe sac amovible ...

Ich bin absolut begeistert von diesem Vakuumiergerät! Die Bedienung ist super einfach und verständlich, alle Funktionen wie Trocken- und Feucht-Modi funktionieren hervorragend. Besonders beeindruckt bin ich von der starken Saugleistung mit bis zu 90 kPa – das Gerät zieht zuverlässig sämtliche Luft aus den Beuteln und versiegelt sie absolut luftdicht. Ich habe das Gerät genutzt, um meine Steaks zu marinieren; dank der tollen Nass-Vakuumfunktion wurde die Marinade optimal aufgenommen und das Ergebnis beim Grillen war ausgezeichnet. Zudem überzeugt mich auch die großzügige Ausstattung: Es wurden zahlreiche Beutel und sogar zusätzliche Ersatzschwämme mitgeliefert. Die Reinigung ist dank der glatten Edelstahloberfläche auch kinderleicht. Ein wirklich durchdachtes und qualitativ hochwertiges Gerät.

So far so good! My name brand vacuum sealer decided not to vacuum any longer so I was looking for a replacement and found this little gem! It works great the few times I have used it so far...I have used it on steaks, hot dogs and hot dog chili and it seems to do amazing! I think even better than the name brand one. It is light and compact, easy to use, not as loud as my other one and most of all affordable! I highly recommend getting this one when you are looking for a sealer!

This sealer is lightweight and works exactly as described but you have to make sure the lid is locked into place otherwise it will not seal. That is as easy as pushing down on one side then the other. Have not tried the vacuum attachment as yet. Liked that it came with rolls and bags so I could put it to work straightaway. The instructions and controls are simple and easy to follow. Sucks the air out then self seals in one step. So far the bags have remained sealed which means it is doing what it is supposed to.
