Great Little Humidity & Temperature Monitors
These mini hygrometers work great and are perfect for monitoring humidity and temperature in different areas of the house. I like that the 6-pack lets me place them in multiple rooms and quickly compare the readings. The display is easy to read, they're small enough to put almost anywhere, and the readings have been consistent between the different units. They're especially useful for keeping an eye on humidity levels and seeing which rooms may need better ventilation or dehumidification. For the price, you get a lot of value with the 6-pack. Simple, accurate, and they do exactly what I needed. Highly recommended!

Dang!!! Pretty consistent and accurate for the price!!!
Okay, I was a little bit leary of these small hygrometer/thermometers due to their low price. They are not NASA-grade I can assure you, but I think for most people they will do. As you can see they are all measuring consistently the same relative humidity and the temperature readings are all within a decimal point or two of each other. This next "thing" puzzles me, though. I put all the meters in a tupperware container with a 62% humidity packet and let it sit for 48+ hours. When I came back to it there was a zero to two-percent difference between a few of the meters. Whereas on the top of the desk they were all reading the same once they were in a sealed container with a known humidity percentage their readings varied. I mean, we're talking only a very few percentage points difference but yet they did change from being identical. Weird. Anyhow, for the price and pretty fair precision that they have I think these would be good for most anything a regular guy/gal would be wanting to use them for. And, for less than a buck and a half each it's kind of a no-brainer. It still amazes me how things this technical and precise can be made and sold so cheaply... As has been noted by another user, these appear to have been made to fit into some type of..."something". There are mounting lips on the edges that would basically snap the unit into a cut-out in a sheetmetal case/box of some sort.

Not terribly accurate but they work
Yes, they were all running (from the factory) and yes, they all show different temperatures and relative humidity and yes, none of them match a real temperature/humidity gauge. BUT, once you know one of them is two or three numbers high or low, it is consistent... it will always be wrong by the same number!! So they do work and they are accurate... they are just NOT calibrated with anything in the real world or with each other. As long as you remember "Temp is +2 / RH is -3" or whatever (and don't get them mixed up), they are worth what you paid for them.

Great for a humidor and a 'don't die gauge'
I bought this originally for my cigar humidor but found other uses like putting them in particularly for rooms as a general temperature gauge. I also found use in putting this on my tool cart at work. I work as a mechanic so something that shows me temp and humidity is more important than I realized. I peek at it from time to time to make sure I 'don't die'. Temps in the summer are brutal but working directly in the sun is a whole other worry. Once it hits 95 or above, I know to take more breaks and drink more water. This just helps me confirm the temp so I know when to do so. It's also tiny so it fits realistically anywhere. You can also throw one in your car to see what you're about to sit in

Simple, but does the job!
I got these to keep track of the humidity where I store my 3D printing filament. I don’t need them to be precise, but they seem to be accurate enough. They’ve been great for that. I have one mounted in each desiccant box, which has been working really well. The display is easy to read. I didn’t buy these for the thermometer, but I do like the added functionality. Just for fun, I put one inside my car. I did learn that the display stops being readable at about 132 degrees. But 2 months in so far and all of them still work just fine. They seem to be a pretty decent value.

I can't test calibration, but 18 units side by side were reading together. HIGHLY consistent
Fast changing, extremely sensitive, and in tight sync on humidity. I bought 18, and placed then in a row across my work bench. After they settled in, they were within 1% of each other in a very interesting way... You could see waves of change, if one went up by 1%, usually it's neighbor would, and that would ripple across the line. Or there might be several waves sweaping from an end and the middle... It was interesting to see that they were all responding to the environment in sequence with the neighbor. This tells me they are quick responding and fairly sensitive. I am in an extremely dry environment, with humidity artificially increased by a swamp cooler, so I am testing the low end of the range, 20% to 30%. If your humidity dwells higher, you may get different results. These type of i9nstruments are more accurate at 75-85% than they are down where I use them, so accuracy is not pertinent in my use case, Instead I will be using these as a quality of storage indicator and alarm, so when I pull a roll of 3 year old nylon down, I can tell if it needs a 2 hour dry cycle or if it needs days more. A "freshness" indicator that I can read without opening the package. Humidity was within 1% of the units neighbor. However temperature was closer together, but the fractional degrees were all over the place... Most of the temperature sensors are closer than the humidity, but because the temperature scale is hundreds of points in either direction, the temperature looks like they are a little father apart, but really they are as close or closer than the RH%. The quality of the sensors are very high to all be in agreement, but these are too cheap to be calibrated, if that is important to yo, do some testing with a calibrated meter. I have a wet bulb and a calibrated meter in the shop, but like I said mine are not being used in a way for best accuracy, but these seem surprisingly high quality so I suspect accuracy is either very good, or at least very repeatable and consistent. These are the best I have tested so far. I will package these with sealed and dry filament, and the levels read will be wrong... Th

Accurate but 2 died in 1.5 months.
Update 1.5 months later. 1 died another on its way. I started noticing the numbers were partially missing or not there all together. I tried new batteries and no change. The meter on the right is how it begins. Then the one on the left in the same photo is what I'm left with. Now I mist my plants and don't try to directly spray these meters but they like humidity and these might not be the best ones for a more humid environment? 2 star loss for 2 meters lost. They should last longer then a set of batteries. I have some plants that I moved to new location on a new stand which I reviewed. My plants are mostly Philodendron and Monstra's and a 50+ year old Christmas Cactus. I was going to get a small humidifier as I wasn't sure the plants sitting on humidity trays were getting enough humidity, so before going that route I decided to get humidity monitors for each of my plants because the addition of humidity they didn't need could be harmful. I have a whole house humidity monitor but this shows around plants the microclimate can be significantly different and that could be good or bad for your plants depending on their needs. So I set monitors right on the humidity tray or on the plant surface and noticed they all were within a very small percentage of each other from one location to another and the humidity was considerably higher then I expected. I did start moving them around to see if they would change as the Christmas Cactus is lower then surrounding plants and it could be the pot is more substantial then the others limiting the exposed water in the humidity tray. So I did an experiment, I took 2 monitors labeled A for my Monstra Standleyana Albo and B for my Christmas cactus as those were the closest two monitors with the largest difference. I labeled the monitors with Capitol letters to indicate where they originated from and small case letter to show they moved I took and switched monitors A and B. Monitor A went from 80% to 70% where monitor B measured it at 70%. Monitor B went from 70% to 80% matching monitor A. This show the accuracy of these monitors and how much difference the microclimates are between plants even relatively close to each other.. It also shows how spot on accurate these monitors are and how fast they adjust. I moved others around with the results be exactly what the previous monitored showed. Now I don't need a humidifier and can keep track of the humidity knowing it's correct which is important in having healthy growing plants. These actually saved me from getting a small humidifier introducing humidity my plants do not need more of. I have a considerable investment in my plants that isn't just monetary value but time and this very small investment I believe is vital to knowing if your plant is comfortable where it sits There is one con to them and that's when I opened the box every monitor was active, there was no plastic to pull to activate the batteries inside. So how long have they been using up the batteries inside? How long before I have to buy new batteries? I'll still leave it at 5 stars because the trust I have in them and that translates to knowing my plants are in an environment they are comfortable with. Reason humidity is so important to these plants and many like them is when the new leaves unfurl if there isn't enough moisture in the air the leaves can stick and crack as they open up so misting is important but knowing is critical and these you can trust to be deadly accurate. When they did come out of the box they all were within 1% of each other so that's close enough for my comfort. The red and blue arrows indicate where A and B monitors were and where they moved

pretty accurate
I tested these in the bovida hygrometer test bag and they were all within one degree of humidity reading. they seem fairly accurate. I was pleased with them overall. Size is great being it does not take up a lot of space in my humidor. very easy to use.
