Smells like peppermint, definitely expensive for a small bottle but tbh it's worth it, if your too broke after buying this and can't afford the conditioner a good alternative that smells relatively the same same to the shampoo is shea moisture for men, it's in a green bottle and works for all hair types. I’ve been on a whole body health journey to figure out what products and food are good and bad for us. This shampoo checks all the boxes that I was looking for in a product that wouldn’t do more harm than good to my hair. I had shifted from mainstream brands to begin with, but still noticed poor hair health. I made the switch to Based and within days of regular use, I could feel a difference. My hair is at its peak health. I have wavy hair with some curl and this shampoo has accentuated my natural texture and even provided more volume. People have noticed my hair being “better” and I have never been complemented on my hair before. This product also checks the USA box. This shampoo is expensive, but it’s better than harsh chemicals making my hair fall out!

Loved the all natural ingredients, my hair has never felt better! It smells very minty, which I love! It leaves my hair feeling very clean and it doesn’t lose its volume like it would with other shampoos. Would buy again!

It was just a clever ad.The one that tricked me, personally, was a slideshow about a guy living in Japan and how all his Japanese friends used this shampoo and his hair had "a major glowup" after using it. He even detailed how he got it for his friend to bring back home before realizing it was available on Amazon.I am clearly not immune to propaganda and was tricked.There is nothing special about this product and it is overpriced. I regret buying it. Don't purchase.
