PhysioWorld Spikey Massage Ball

Bought this to aid my recovery following a small car accident. My physio recommended that i use a spikey ball and use it to self massage my back against a wall. I thought it was odd but glad i eventually got one. He told me that i should get the 'physio world' one and not a cheapo one on ebay. So what did i do? I bought one on eBay DOH! what i received was basically a balloon and the spikes were widely spaced. I just let the dog have it. So i then bought the physio world one. What a difference. It is relatively hard and the spikes are closely spaced so you actually feel it over your back. Great product and does the job.

This is great, but my one criticism would be that the spikes are slightly too firm for my liking, making it difficult to get the right pressure without pinching/prickling. Very useful product and I do recommend it for back and shoulder pain.

Product ok. Not as good as other products I have bought. A little on the softer side, and deforms more easily then expected.Ok if you want about the same or slightly more pressure than a tennis ball.

When I receieved it, it was smaller than I expected, but it's quiet strong and well made. I have had a problem with my knee due to running for a while now. Locating the problem to just above the knee this has really helped elevate the tension. I have also used it on my partner and his leg muscles were really tight. After using it for around ten minutes he could really feel the difference he couldn't believe I got it for that price. Would highly recommend.

Works great for massaging stiff and sore muscles. Apply as much pressure as you need to and work it round the area. Such a simple design that I use regularly to ease muscle tension and pain.

If you have any sore, strained muscles (esp on the back or back of the legs) this is the perfect product to help treat and resolve this. For my personal taste, I would have loved it to have a slightly larger ball, but this does the trick

I have used this to gently massage my tummy after a hysterectomy and I feel it has helped. It can be used for a gentle massage it's all about the pressure you apply.
