As a new starter on a PICU unit this has been so helpful in understanding so many aspects. In particular it is good for blood gas values and infusions as well as giving basic and easy to understand explanations of a variety of medical conditions.

Nice book for a brief insight to PICU. If you want in depth knowledge though you need further reading, this doesn't go beyond the basics.
