Excellent Choice for Beginning . . .
I'm taking a kickboxing class and these feel comfortable and sturdy. I was able to hit the bag with confidence and punch harder. I love the color too.

unfinished edges
We were hoping for a well made glove for light use at a YMCA class. The gloves have rough edges at the seams . When the glove is compressed on impact (literally what it is designed to do) the material wrinkled in a way which indicated that it will quickly wear and tear. I recommend paying the extra five to ten dollars and get a recognizable sportswear name.
