I am always trying to save money on replacement cd cases, because i use them for every used cd i purchase. As other reviewers have mentioned, the cases do not close well, which i have found in other brands. As one reviewer also stated, thick booklets are hard to insert because of the extra thick tabs.Bottom line, although they are thicker than some other cases, you cannot beat Maxtek. A few dollars more is well worth it. I have purchased Maxtek 25 count cases with no damaged cases, and superb function and durability. Less expensive is not always best in the end.Update: Company reached out to discuss my comments. Good customer service. I am impressed so i have changed my overall rating.

Shipped quickly. Good quality. Just like the original jewel cases. Can put inserts on front and back covers.

I use these to replace old game jewel cases. They don't fit together all the time and break easily. I usually take parts of these and swap them with other cases because they don't seem to like being with the original case they came packaged with but it works (if you need a whole case for replacing or crafting I wouldn't recommend these cases)They're also hard to open but all new cases are. They get the job done.

These are kind of bad. They look nice but are REALLY hard to get open once they are shut. REALLY NOT good for changing out ps1 cases. Like REALLY REALLY REALLY not good. I'd suggest a different product for this kind of need.

I think these cases are about perfect. At least better than what people are saying. Build quality is good. The cases open and close fine. A few people have mentioned they don't like the capacity to hold the album booklet or artwork. I find it holds an eight page booklet so far, which seems about right to me. The cases also came better packed that other people's pictures. Mine came as the shown photos with the lable and shrink wrapped, and on top of that another thick wrapping of thick plastic. In a cardboard box and packing paper to keep them from rattling around. No broken cases. If I need more I will buy more of these ones

I found these CD Jewel Cases to be very close to the originals which I needed as replacement for some older vintage compact disc albums I own that have definitely seen better days. That said, these types of Jewel Cases tend to scratch, chip, and crack easily - the plastic used is brittle which is why I was so surprised to find them loose with no padding in the shipping bag they were sent in?? And sure enough, 2 out of 10 cases were unusable and I had to order another set from a different vendor. These BCW cases were great, the unbroken ones that is, but its a bit disappointing now and causes me to be hesitant to order them again through Amazon. Oddly, Amazon often rejects product reviews critical of shipping and handling but if you are only receiving 80% of an item due to that process then yeah, it needs to be pointed out so people can have a REAL sense of what they can expect. I felt sure the item would be delivered intact and with no broken cases, and again the ones that weren't broken are great and I used all 8 out of the 10 in the pack. Fragile items that contain brittle plastic needs - at minimum - to be wrapped in bubble wrap or something to protect it while in transit. That's all I'm trying to say.

This ALMOST the perfect replacement for worn/damaged CD jewels.Even has the "Compact Disc Digital Audio" marking.I say ALMOST because the legs/pegs that are meant to hold covers or game booklets, are too thick to allow even a thin game booklets to fit. If it were to force it, I would be wrecking the booklets of my PS1 games.You can tell in my comparison photo that shows the BCW brand where you can't fit the booklet easily - it just hits the peg; with an original jewel that shows my booklet easily slides under the legs without any force.If these legs were just as thin as original jewel cases, I would have given it full stars.I'll be looking elsewhere for a direct replacement.

Fantastic for the money, but for me hard to open. I have had 3 strokes so they are harder for me to open. Otherwise well worth the money.
