I bought two of these. One seems to work. The other one reverses the display, so you would have to read it in a mirror. Instructions take a while to figure out, but features are good. You can in fact put a video on an SD card and it will play for 30 seconds instead of whichever of the 5 alarms you assign it to by putting it in a folder named "alarm01" etc. If it is shorter, it will play repeatedly for 30 seconds. It also works as a digital photo frame. However, it seems to distort 16:9 video a little bit to fit its 4:3 screen size, and the digital photo quality isn't great. Also, the user would have to hit few buttons on the back to change it back to clock mode.

This clock is easy to see, easy to program, and the alarms display helpful reminders. I had one hiccup however, it locked up on June 6th, and I couldn't get any of the buttons to work. I removed and replaced the power cord and it started up at the correct date, which was 6 days later than the lockup. It is now October 9, 2017, and my clock has locked up for the 4th time since June. I Unplugged it and plugged it in, which displayed the correct time. I still like the clock, but I have to be vigilant in double-checking the time display to make sure that I am actually seeing the correct date and time. I hope that they can fix this little issue for future buyers.

This is just AWESOME!! My mother is in assisted living, and she loses track of what day it is sometimes, so I ordered this for her. She LOVES it! I'm going to order another one for her sister/my aunt who just moved in around the corner from her. She moved in yesterday, and just today she said she can't keep track of what day it is. I think I need one also! THANKS for this great product! (Sometimes, it does have a glitch and the time is wrong, etc., but just unplugging it and plugging it back in solves the problem. It's happened 3 times in the past 4 months. STILL WORTH IT!)

Very nice large print clock. Has a lot of features I am not using because it is a bit too complicated for my mother whose memory is failing, but she loves being able to glance at it and tell herself what day it is. I didn't set up the part that says "It is morning" or afternoon etc, she doesn't need that yet, but it could be useful for some. Also didn't set up the reminder or photo viewing abilities as she only wanted it for the clock feature for now.Only drawback is that there is no battery backup. It is easy to set the time, however.

Excellent product support! We bought this clock over 10 months ago but warranty information was unclear, so I emailed them at [email protected] because the clock's alarm would not reset. They answered in less than 24-hours and supplied my with an updated flash file. All I had to do is copy the file to an SD card, insert it into the clocks SD slot, and that's it! The clock updated itself in less than a minute and at's as good as new again!

Bought this for my mom who has Alzheimer's. She absolutely loves it. It helps her out especially when she wakes up during the night. It makes her feel secure when she knows how many more hours she has to sleep.

At first I thought this clock was the perfect fit for my mother who is in a nursing home and can not remember what the day is. The first few months it worked great then after that it constantly looses the correct date and time - I do not know if perhaps the power surges in/out at the nursing home and perhaps causes this, but almost every other time I go to visit my mom the clock and date are wrong! I have to keep resetting it - sometimes just unplugging it and replugging it in helps other times I have to fully reset it. I am disappointed with this product as it is causing more confusion for my mom.

Bought this for my wife's mother, who was beginning to have problems remembering the day of the week or date. Sometimes she would take a nap and not know whether it was morning or afternoon when she woke up. I'd like to say this cured all those problems, but that's asking too much of a clock. She's learning to look at it and might get the hang of it someday.
