This book is a great book for beginners all the way to the most experienced stitcher. Large photos, steps for new and creative ways to stitch and the book is in a chronological order, easy to follow. Highly recommend all her books but this one is the best to start with in your collection. ❤️♥️

I have many embroidery books but this one is the best one! It is great for beginners, awesome pictures and directions and easy to follow. Stitches are easy to find and follow. It's great for experienced stitchers. Has great combination stitches and again-awesome pictures. This is my #1 go to stitching book.

Fantastic, well written and illustrated book. I have been doing needle crafts now for a few years and debated about buying this book, do I really need one more embroidery book (I also have one other of Jennifer’s). Well, yes, yes I do. Certainly this book covers the basics, but then goes on to explain “process” of how to design a Freeform embroidery and what to consider. For a non artistic type this was exactly what I needed. How to design a piece and show movement and points of interest. I am so happy to have this book in my collection and highly encourage you to add it to your embroidery library. So worth it. I am a newbie in embroidery because of Jennifer's work. I resonate with her free form format, because I never liked the printed embroidery projects. This book is a gem and highly recommend. Jennifer's method of starting with a basic stem and slowly building up has taken my projects to a new level. Brilliant showcasing of her method and stitching techniques.

Jennifer has written a beautiful book, but one that is easily detailed for the beginner embroidery stitcher to make a lovely floral piece. Her work is amazing and the photos in the book are perfect.

This is a beautiful book by the wonderful Jennifer Clouston. It motivates you to embroider without a specific plan in advance. This will be added to her previous book "foolproof Flower Embroidery" as my go to embroidery books for any project.

Lovely book, lots of variety of stitches and building upon stitches.

If you are an experienced embroiderer, who really wants to up the game with your embroidery - then this book is for you. Pictures are exquisite along with the excellent instructions as how to accomplish them. After carefully reading the instructions, I can now design new combinations of stitches to achieve the results which I'm dreaming of with confidence. I totally encourage you to obtain a copy of this book.

I love this amazing book. It is so well done and I am learning a lot of new techniques and a lot of wonderful ideas for using in my slow stitch projects as well as my junk journal covers and tags. I refer to this book often and just love to admire all of it. Perfection!

Beautiful photographs, easy to follow.

I'm fairly new to freeform embroidery, and this book makes it easy to produce really beautiful embroideries by taking you step by step adding the different stages as you go. The photography isexcellent and the stitches are easy to follow. There are some lovely examples of stitched pieces in the book. I really like the instructions of how to make a simple stitch book, something I've been meaning to do for ages. I have two of the author's other books, and they just keep getting better! I will treasure this book, it's amazing!

This is a beautiful book, cannot wait to try some of the stitches. I love the unconstrained style of stitching, perfect for those who just want to go with the flow
