SK tool are always good quality for the money. Nice variety of sizes both metric and standard. I needed a small compact socket set for work and I can’t do the cheap Walmart stuff. The price is reasonable, and this set will last me for a long while.

I bought this socket set with a Fathers Day gift card, so I took a lot of time comparing it to other socket / ratchet sets on the market. I am extremely pleased by the quality of this SK set. The ratchet itself is a fine tool and you can hear the quality when using it. The 2.5 degree arc was the best I could find on the market, and you really appreciate that in tight places. The case holds all of the pieces firmly in place, yet the sockets come out very easily when needed. I was initially impressed by the vanadium and chrome plating, but what sets the sockets apart is the discreet but visible markings that are different for the SAE sockets and metric sockets. The lettering for socket size is larger than the average, which is helpful. This 55 piece set is a few more dollars than the SK 51 piece set, but I chose it because it came with 5 more sockets, so there's little chance I come across a bolt that can't be tackled. This is one ofthose heirloom type tools that will last forever.
