SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless Multi-System Gaming Headset — Neodymium Magnetic Drivers — Active Noise Cancellation — 2 Battery System — ClearCast Gen 2 Mic — PC, PS5, PS4, Switch, Mobile

I use these for work, gaming and music. I like that I can connect my phone via Bluetooth while also being connected to my computer. I think the sound quality is good and I like the noise cancellation in the headphones. But the thing that prompted me to make a review is the microphone noise reduction. I work from home and my desk is on the ground floor against an exterior wall. During the call I just had, the landscapers arrived and started leaf blowing and using power tools just on the other side of the wall my desk is against. Like the bushes that touch the wall my desk sits in front of, and there are 2 windows. I can hear them speaking just on the other side of the wall from me right now. In my work call I needed to present and I asked the team if they were hearing the landscaping going on (it was really loud) but everyone confirmed the mic wasn’t picking up anything by my talking. My only con is that sometimes my ears ache a little after long wear, but I have seen that others recommend changing the cups which I haven’t done. Perhaps that would help with long wear sessions. All in, I think they are worth the price and I am happy with the quality and versatility of the product.

I primarily use these on PC for gaming, and the sound quality is genuinely excellent — very clean and detailed. I also have the Arctis Nova 1, which already sounds good for a wired headset, but this is clearly a step above. Comfort has been great even in longer 4–5 hour sessions. No pressure points or fatigue, which matters more than I expected at this price. The hot-swappable battery system is a standout feature and one of the main reasons I bought these. Being able to swap batteries instead of constantly plugging in makes a big difference in day-to-day use. The base station exists mostly for setup in my case — I don’t interact with it much after that. The biggest downside is price. Like a lot of SteelSeries gear, it’s expensive, and you really need to be someone who will take advantage of what it offers. If you’re just looking for decent sound, there are cheaper options that will get you most of the way there. That said, if you want strong wireless performance, great sound, and the convenience of the battery system, this is a very solid headset.

Have been using these daily for 8 weeks. Long gaming sessions. This is an expensive quality headset. My biggest concern was comfort. I was coming from an Steel Series Arctis 7. I had been using that model for years. Sadly the micro USB power connector because loose and it would randomly not charge with the slightest of movement. I didn't really look into a fix and decided to replace with this model. Comfor wise I was worried about switching from the elastic headband in the Artist 7 to the more convention strap with holes here. I find it to be a non issue, the Nova Pro is just as comfortable and maybe just a little bit more comfortable. It comes with leatherette type war cushions. I immediately replaced them with an after market foam cushion as I live in a warm area. I could see that being a problem. It cost about $20-25 for the after market replacements. Not too hard to put on (easier than I expected) and the foam helps with heat. Im not sure how to describe it but these headphones had more of a circle over the ear feeling than the Arctis 7. It's not bad but just different. It comes with a device that plugs into a USB port on your computer. It's a little corded drive with a wheel to control selection and volume and a small display screen. It doesn't have a screen saver or sleep feature for the display as far as I can tell. You can change the output easily enough but I could see burn in being a problem there. I use the blue tooth connection and have had no issues. The base station acts as the receiver and also can charge one of the batteries. This headset comes with an easily removable battery and a spare. Very convient to also have a back up. However the current battery life is ridiculously long, It goes 16 hours without missing a beat. The base station also displays battery life left while in use The headphones can also be charged by USB C. So if I'm stepping away from the computer for a few minutes I'll plus them in during my gaming session. I like the fact that there's two methods to power it, removable battery and a charging port. If one fails you can still use the headphones. One of the side silver metallic circles comes off and the charging port is under there. The other side houses the battery. The magnet that holds it on works fine but it will take a few tries to line it up and then you will get it every time. No issues there. The. Microphone quality is great. I have in the past purchase 2 Blue Yeti Microphones with arms for good audio. This is way simpler and works just as well. I asked people Ive gamed with for years if I sounded better or worse. They said you could tell it was a different mix, but it sounded better. The foam cover for the expansible mic is kind of cheap. Not a major problem. Foam is foam. When I first got it I had a problem. I was hearing my microphone Input in my headphones when talking. Put up with it for a few weeks. I couldn't find a way to fix it. I ended up downloading the steel series software. It was a checkbox in there to turn it off. I then uninstalled the software and problem has been permanently solved. I like the construction quality. It feels good, not being to heavy and not feeling too breakable. That said I don't throw my headphones. Pros: Great battery life Replaceable battery with spare 2 methods of charging Mic quality is very good Equal or greater in comfort to the Steel Series headband. Cons: I don't prefer leather type ear cushions. For this price would have liked foam included. Receiver box will probably have burn in over time. Expensive I'm not an audiophile so I can't get that deep but for discord and gaming I am very happy with my purchase even at that high a price. I will update this if any problems develop. Edit: fixed some words Update March 10th 2025: Mixed feelings on these headphones. I quickly replaced the provided ear cushions with aftermarket Wicked Cushion ones for about $27.00. To me that's a lot of money to replace a part of an already expensive set of headphones. The provided ear cups really just weren't very good. At this price point they should be. The foam on the end of the microphone now annoys me. It mostly stays on fine and does it's job but it does rarely fall off. If you had a dog that would eat it or something like that it could be a problem. It's just a little foam piece with a slit cut into it. If there was no better way to this then it really would have been nice to have an extra one provided. Again, this is a very expensive headset. The audio quality, and sturdiness is good. Again I am careful with it, and did purchase a desk clip holder for them. The headband seems fine, again it seems as well as the elastic Arctis 7 design but I have two problems. With the provided ear cups (and even higher quality after market ones) if I wear glasses while playing it's immediately uncomfortable, and painful after an hour or so. I can't say the Arctis 7's were much better in this regard but this is a high end item. I keep the strap at the loosest possible setting and it does not help. There are two holes on each side of the strap to secure it at a placement that fits for you. I have even tried using only one hole on each side with no improvement. The battery life is great. I worry about burn in on the receiver box but haven't seen any yet. The range has remained a non issue. I use Bluetooth and it doesn't go as far as 2.4 GHz. But I don't walk far from the base station and haven't been bothered enough to switch it. I can't comment on the 2.4 GHz quality but I don't think it would be an issue. My main concerns on the ear pads are heat, and comfort. I am not satisfied with having to get after market replacements and they are an improvement but I still have problems. The quality of an after market product is not the concern of Steel Series but feeling like I had to get replacement pads in the first place is, I have large ears. I don't think this product is good enough on its own for large ears. It's decent, maybe as good as the Arctis 7, but at a higher price. The only possible solution is there is an after market adapter that allows your to use replacement ear pads for other headphones. I will be looking into this. I will double check the box to see if a second foam cover for the microphone was included. I knocked off a star because the comfort issues exist.

I had high hopes for this Headset, given the brand and overall reviews. However, I've been severely let down since purchasing this 4 months ago. I use this headset for gaming, streaming, and platforms like Discord and Teams/Zoom. What I've found is that the audio output is pretty decent, and for someone like myself that is less knowledgeable about audio, the Sonar platform offers good customization. I also really enjoy the separate battery functionality, being able to charge one battery while using the other is really cool. Where this headset REALLY goes wrong is the audio input via microphone. I get regular comments from others about how scratchy and robotic my input sounds, almost as if I'm far away from my PC or have no bandwidth. After extensive research online, customizing Sonar settings (several times) based on recommendations for similar issues, ensured I have the right sound/audio settings in each software, as well as restarting any impacted program or my PC... I'm at a loss. Either this Headset requires more customization than your average consumer will know or understand to get BASELINE audio output/input quality, or the product is extremely overpriced for what you're really getting. I do not recommend this product, please avoid and save yourself some money and sanity.

**Title: SteelSeries Does It Again** I upgraded from an older SteelSeries wireless headset, and this one is even better. The dual-battery system means I always have a charged battery ready to go—no mid-game downtime. The headset fits comfortably, although it can get a little warm during longer sessions. Most importantly, the sound quality is excellent.

Headphones are a little complex but very nice once you get used to it. The Audio Quality is superb, and never had anyone complain about the microphone quality either. the Headphones are a good size, weight light, and are very comfortable to wear. The wireless headphones have a simulated eternal battery life. You have two batteries, one you put in your head phones, the other you keep inside the docking station. When your battery gets low, you simply switch the batteries. No more needing to worry charging your headphones. It's been durable and great for me so far using it for a few months now. Probably the best headphones i've had.

This is my third arctis headset and now that I've had some time with it, I feel confident in saying that in some ways it's my favorite and in others, it's been a big step back. Pros - comfy, nice heft without being too heavy, relatively good sound quality, modular, good battery life. Cons - the wireless connectivity is subpar, especially at this price point. Takes longer than the others to turn on and connect. It does the weirdest things sometimes, the audio quality will just drop off of a cliff and have an undercurrent of static, and sometimes they just start blaring static out of nowhere giving me a jump scare. Honestly my experience has been not worth the price point, I'll wait for them to sort out whatever issues are going on before buying a steelseries again.

This is my completely 100% honest review after almost 3 months of use. Getting this out of the way right now, this headset is NOT worth the money that you are spending for it. Sometimes you are going to see this headset on "sale" and its marked off at around 60-100 dollars from its "original" price at 380. This is exactly what made me get this headset, but PLEASE..... do not let this happen to you as well, because I promise you it is NOT even worth 200 dollars to me, let alone the marked off price after the sale which is typically a small amount. This headset works like any ordinary headset. Its sound quality is just like any ordinary headset. You can get the same "immersive" sound quality from a headset worth 50-100 dollars, trust me on this because I have owned and used PLENTY of headsets before. However, the sound quality is not what made me take time out of my already busy day to write this review (that i typically don't even do for headsets), its actually what the headset provides you for the price you are paying. The whole headset relies on a third party software from steelseries itself to basically provide you with the extra "features" that you are paying for. Well, this third party software is complete bogus. It is completely dogs***. It is so horrible that you're WAY better off just getting a headset that works without having to use any other software. First of all, this software is really buggy, ALL THE TIME. When I turn on the headset to use, I have to always manually change the output to the headphones when it is literally the only output I have so that I can start hearing sound. I shouldn't have to do that EVERY TIME I TURN THE HEADPHONES ON if im gonna pay 300+ dollars for a headset. Not to mention all of the equalizer presents don't even work, and there is no difference in how you are hearing the sound either way. The quality of this headset is also horrible for what you are paying. This material feels like cheap plastic, and overall the headset was probably designed in an effortless way as well. I don't know why steelseries decided to do this kind of design, but I kid you not it is not the ideal design. The connection to the earcups SHOULD NOT be one small connection that leads to the side of the earcup, it should be a direct bigger connection. As a result of this, the headset unfortunately fell off my desk and broke instantly, which upset me even more. Now I have a wobbly earcup that hangs on because of the cord and does not surround my ear well. I know this isn't the fault of the manufacturer, but c'mon. A 300+ dollar headset should NOT break that easily. Spend your hard earned money on another headset that is actually worth the money. Any wired one is perfect. Any low cost multiple channel headset is also perfect if you have multiple consoles. I recommend brands like logitech, razer, hyperx, or even astros if you have money to splurge. But once again, this headset is NOT WORTH what it costs, not even on sale.

Been using these headphones for a year or two now and they're still holding up great. The mic wasn't quite to standard, it's quite muffled and not great quality, but it gets a bit better when you start messing with the equalizer and such in the steelseries app, I ended up getting a separate mic. The sound is pretty good and the batteries last a day or two of 9hr gaming sessions before needing to swap and it's easy and fast to do so.

Excellent sound, and microphone performs well. However, the removeable sections where the battery is placed can easily scratch causing aesthetic issues. No other complaints overall!

Gostando muito do produto, a redução de ruído é muito boa, moro em frente a uma rua muito movimentado e barulhento, abafa tudo, incrível. A versão branca é linda, necessitando um cuidado diário com a limpeza. A qualidade do som em jogos e a imersão é algo que nunca tinha ouvido, maravilhoso. Recomendo demais, os benefícios são tantos em relação a outros fones que vale o valor. Confortável.

Me encanto el sonido, me encantan que traigan una pila extra para nunca perder tiempo cargandolos, son bastantes livianos y parecen son bastante comodos pero cuando te los colocas pero despues de unos minutos usandolos se calientan demaciado la parte de las orejas y eso la verdad si molesta muchisimo!, adicional a este producto compre las almoadillas que se supone que estan un poco menos calientes ya que son de gel, y un asi se sienten calientes la verdad si vas a estar mucho tiempo con ellos sin un aire acondicionado arriba de frio de lo normal no lo recomiendo..
