Judith,I found it in a dumpster where they were removing a roof on a commercial building.You can find it online along with the sock.It's a simple basket shaped frame mounted on a spindle for rotation and you mount it on a pipe in the ground or some where there is unobstructed wind..The frame is a 8 inch diameter circular device to hold the end of the sock open to catch the wind.GoodLuck,Chris
