Hi all (READ THIS BEFORE YOU BUY), Below is my one-week review with the product. I will edit it after a 3 month period. To start, I have lots of experience with headphones. I have had Beats Studios, Airpods Max, Turtle Beachs, Bose 700s, multiple Razer headsets, and even other Steelseries products like the Arctis 6. None of these compare to these for a few reasons I will go into below. I use headphones for gaming but also I work from home as a software engineer, so I am on the computer a LOT and in lots of zoom meetings. !!! Disclaimer !!!: These are the "Xbox" version of these. That means, on your multi-system adapter/DAC, one cord can go into a PC/PlayStation and one can go into an Xbox. **If you plan to use this for a PC and PlayStation, please go buy the non-Xbox version. That said, if you plan to ever use this with an Xbox, you will need this version. You CAN use the Xbox slot for a PC, but it will show up as an "Xbox Controller" and will have more limited functionality. Okay, back to the reasons. 1. Ease of use. I opened these up, plugged the multi-system DAC into my PC, turned on the headset and was ready to go. I had a few onboarding steps: Download Steelseries GG, update drivers, restart device (a few times?), but since then they have works FLAWLESSLY. 2. Wireless. These aren't just your typical wireless. I have had no connection issues. I can walk to the other side of the house, as long as I don't have too many walls between me and my computer these things still work, even then there was just some static. The quality is great as well. 3. Battery. This is HUGE. There is a battery in the headset that you can remove and swap with the one CHARGING IN THE DAC. Yes, you heard me, just swap the battery when you need and boom, full charge. You'll never need the direct connection outside of updates to the firmware. This really is fantastic and easy to use. 4. Microphone. I don't personally use the microphone, but the quality compared to most other headset mics I have used it up there. Some have asked me if you can use the mic while it is in the headset still. I'd say yes, but it will be lower volume and less clear, but I tested it and it would still work (and frankly was still better than like HyperX headset microphones that I've had. I wouldn't buy these FOR the microphone per-say, if you want a nice microphone you can buy a Blue Snowball for cheap on amazon on sale and it'll be all you need unless you want more professional stuff (get the Blue Yeti after that maybe). 5. Connection. I have only used the DAC connection which is really really good as I said in the wireless review. That said, I will be trying to Bluetooth to test that seamlessness they inspire there. I would LOVE if I could get phone notifications while also gaming or in work calls without interrupting those I'm talking to our my gaming experience too much (while of course also me still being alerted). 6. Look. These look great. They look professional enough that I can wear them on work calls. I would maybe thing twice if it was a client meeting, but other than that, I'd feel comfortable in these all day. 7. Comfort. This is only a one-week review, but I will say they are quite comfortable. The airpods max and arctis 6 are notable uncomfortable to me, the first being too heavy and the second putting too much pressure on parts of my head that I get a headache. That said, no problem with these so far. I like the ear cups actually, they're soft and feel premium (as they should for this price point). I know I've seen people complain online, but I've had no issues with these. If I do, you'll see an update right below here. Overall: Great connectivity and ease of use while looking nice enough for me to not be embarrassed because they're "gaming" all while being comfortable with good audio. This is a very high price point. If you really are a gamer and want a very intuitive product while avoiding crazy RGBs and your headsets looking too "gaming", and you can afford these, then absolutely. That said, this is not just money you're spending on this headset but it's money you could put elsewhere. Audio is important, but you could get a perfectly good headset for less and still not miss out on the gaming experience. These are absolutely a 'premium' product and thus the price point might not really align perfectly. That said, these are my favorite headphones to-date and I am very happy with my purchase, so you might be too. Please like this helpful if this was useful for you. I purchased the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless recently due to sitting on and breaking my previous pair of Arctis Pro headsets. That pair had been bouncing around with me for the better part of 5 years from state to state for the work I did. I never had a problem and would have kept using them if not sat on them. I really liked them and so purchased a new pair. I have had the new set for around a week now and can give you some honest reviews of what I think. * Absolutely love the interchangeable battery with built in charger. I never ever have to worry about if I have enough battery for my game . Literally a10 second battery swap and back in business. Plug the depleted battery into the base unit and it is charged way before the new battery wears down. It is like having a wired headset without the wires. I also like that the headset battery life and the charging battery status is displayed on the base unit so you can judge what would be best time to swap in mid game. * Sound.... Sound is just average right out of the box. keep in mind these are gaming headset not audiophile headsets. But match it with the Sonar app where you have full equalizer control, spatial audio, volume boost, and mic sound canceling controls and this headset comes alive in your ears. These are well designed and I love how the base does not wash over the mid levels or highs. Each frequency is distinctive and separate. I can hear a high pitch rifle ricochet during an explosion at the same time and each is crisp and clear * The ear cups are smaller on the new Arctis than the old ones. I have bigger ears and they do not quite want to fit comfortably into the padded cup like the old ones. The cushion around the cup is soft plush and very dense. It cuts outside sound down a lot. not all sound but does good job reducing outside sound to almost nothing. That being said, They fit snugly to my head and I do feel warmer and sweat inside the cup area. They do sell upgrades cushions and will try those. * Head pressure. The headset fits tightly to my head. Much more so than my old ones. I find that when wearing them for more than a couple hours I am moving them around to try to find better position as ears and head start to get sore. I have pulled the adjustments down all the way to make the length longer and adjusted the inside headband accordingly and that does help reduce the pressure to a bearable limit for long term use like 6 hours or more. If you do not like headsets that grip your head like a glove you may want to go to a store and test them before buying. All in all These are awesome headsets if paired with the Sonar app. Well worth the money.

I've only had these for about two days, but I wanted to write up some quick first impressions. The long and short of it is: good headphones with some minor, addressable comfort concerns. Cons: - As I just mentioned, the real primary negative to these headphones in my experience was the comfort of wearing them for long periods. Some users have trouble with the protruding bit of ANC housing on the inside of the cups. My ears are fairly flat to my skull, so I didn't notice this issue at all. However, the material the ear cushions are made of, a sort of pleather material, does retain heat like an oven. After an hour or two, my ears were very warm and it got uncomfortable to continue wearing them. Using the headphones while cleaning up around the house was like wearing a sauna suit specifically on my ears. Fortunately, there are aftermarket replacement ear cushions that address both of these issues with larger pads made from more breathable fabric. It's doesn't feel great immediately swapping pieces off of $400 tech, but at least the problem can be solved. I bought a pair from Wicked Cushions and first impressions of those are great, but I've barely had a chance to really test them. -Magnetic side panels hiding the battery and USB-C port have me concerned about longevity. While I'm glad the side panels aren't held on by cheap plastic clips that would inevitably break, the extremely sleek magnetic panels do feel a bit more form over function. The magnets inside the panels are just strong enough to hold the panels to the headset, and I haven't had them fall off yet, but I am worried about that happening after months or years of removing them to swap the battery. -The noise cancellation isn't absolute, but it's good enough to minimize white noise like fans or air conditioning. This wasn't really what I came to these headphones for. I am not particularly bothered by room noise. In fact, I do like a certain amount of situational awareness, and total noise cancellation makes me uneasy in the same way blindfolding myself with a VR headset does. This does a good enough job to obfuscate irritating noises like my neighbor's fender rattling bass or the humming fan of my refrigerator without making me feel like a home invader finally has a chance to get the drop on me. Pros: -There's a lot I love here. Firstly and most importantly, these sound great. I'm not an audio expert at all, but I am a video production professional and have worked closely with audio engineers and have some idea on the differences between high and low quality sounding headphones and sound systems. These are likely to satisfy anybody but the most demanding audiophiles out there. -They just work. I'm so sick of buying some expensive piece of tech and having to read a thousand Reddit posts just to figure out how to make the item work with my particular setup. These are about as plug and play as expensive gear gets in 2024. I opened the box, plugged the base station into a USB port, turned on the headphones, set the audio output to the headphones on my PC, and that was all I needed to do to make them work. The base station gets its power via the USB, so you don't even need to plug it into an electrical outlet. There's obviously driver updates and free software that you can download to manually set equalizers and fiddle with settings (which I do think works well and suggest downloading), but all you absolutely need is a PC with a USB port and ears. -Two batteries with one always charging in the base station. This is ingenious. Seriously, whoever on the SteelSeries team who suggested this, give them a raise, a company car, and a nice corner office with a good view. It's such a simple idea that solves the number one inconvenience with rechargeable gear. As long as you place the spare battery in the base station, you'll always be ready to go. -Simultaneously connect the headset to your PC or console and a Bluetooth device. I love to play video games and listen to podcasts. With these, I can play a game on PC (or console) and hear that audio on these headphones, while they're also connected to my phone playing a podcast at the same time. One of the primary reasons I have always preferred a nice sound system to nice headphones is that a sound system lets me indulge my broken, millennial attention span. With these headphones, now I can split my attention between multiple stimuli while also shutting out the rest of the world. -Not gamer aesthetic. This is more of a general shoutout to SteelSeries. Thank you for having options for those of us who don't want to die of embarrassment when we catch our reflection in the monitor. No gaudy, distracting RGB LEDs adorning every surface, no ridiculous cat ears mounted at the top. Just black headphones that go on your head and don't call more attention to themselves than the media they're playing. -The design is simple and functional. The mic coils inside the headphones when you do not need it. The buttons and nobs are all slightly raised so you can sense from feel what controls you're touching while wearing them. Like I mentioned above, these do not distract from the media they're playing. They're a tool to make your experience more enjoyable and otherwise be as undetectable as possible. It's a design direction that I find deeply appealing because it respects both the media it is playing and its users. Even the SteelSeries logo that is printed on the sides of the headset is barely visible without close inspection. I really cannot stress enough how much I appreciate what SteelSeries does in this regard. I have an old wired pair of headphones from SteelSeries as well, and they've only just been replaced by these.

OK. So, I bought these after watching a few review videos, and for the most part, I am glad I did. I bought the XBox edition mostly because it was on sale. All three versions say you can hook the headphones up to PC, PS5/4, XBOX X/S, Switch, tablets, and your phone. I really didn't know what the difference was between all the versions until it was delivered, and I started to set it up. Right now, I see that the PS edition is also on sale. I am still playing with the settings, but it was my hope to be able to connect my PC and my PS5 to be used at the same time. But what I have learned since this was delivered is, since I bought the XBOX edition, one of the two USB ports is dedicated to an XBOX. Right now, I have my PS5 connected to the second USB port. I can still use my PC and my PS5 at the same time by connecting my PC via Bluetooth. So, I am guessing that the difference in the three editions - XBOX, PlayStation, and PC- is that each has a different dedicated USB port reserved for whatever version you buy. For me, I should have gotten either the PC or the PS one even though I also have an XBOX Series X. But, I can make the XBOX one work for me. Like I said, I have my PC connected via Bluetooth for the time being might try a USB switch so I don't have to physically swap out USB lines when I am playing games on my PC. The Bluetooth connection won't give me the same sound quality that the 2.4G connection will give me. And I am still not 100% sure that I CAN'T use the XBOX USB port for my PC. Anyways.....that is where I am at right now. As far as quality, I am playing Death Stranding 2 on my PS5 right now, and the game sounds amazing through these headphones. And most of the time, I have a Twitch Stream or a Brewers game playing on my PC, and I love that I can get the audio for both at the same time. That for me is why I opened my wallet to pay for these headphones. I can't say anything about the mic yet because I haven't used it. I will come back and add my thoughts on that after I finally do. The main reason I wrote this review before I had a chance to set everything up and experiment is because I wanted to talk about using these headphones for music. If music is what you mainly want to listen too with these headphones, DON'T!!! These are NOT headphones for that. You probably won't like the amount of bass you can get, and if you like it loud, you will hear some popping. After messing with settings and the EQ, I got it to where the music sounds decent enough, but I didn't buy these to listen to music. I bought them for the convenience of being able to mix audio from all of my electronics at once. And they do exactly that very well. The headphones are comfortable, but I will probably end up buying some replacement ear pads at some point. The ear cushions fit completely over my ears, and I can't hear any sounds that are close by at all. I have a rather large head, and they fit very well. The only time they try to slide forward off of my head like some have reported is when I start to doze off at my desk and I begin to face plant into my keyboard. The build quality seems pretty solid. I am always concerned about the swivel for the earphones because I have broken so many over the years. I am confident that the swivel on these will hold up just fine. The three buttons for power, Bluetooth, and mute (mic) are easy to find while keeping the headset on and so is the volume dial. The base unit is pretty straight forward and easy to use. I plan to either buy or 3D print a mount for it so I can mount it underneath my desk. A quick Google search will point you to those 2 options. You get even more bells and whistles when you hook them up to your PC and then download the SteelSeries GG software. It allows you to switch easily between several different profiles. Again, I have only messed with those bells and whistles a tiny bit, but I like what I saw. As far as I know, there is no software available for consoles yet, but I think I saw something that said there might be something in the future. But for now, console just has the base unit settings and EQ at your service. All in all. I am very happy with this purchase. I will likely add to this review over time as I experiment and especially if I find a way to have my PC and PS5 connected at the same time without using Bluetooth. If I really wanted to, I could probably RMA it and then get the PS version. I will figure it out.....eventually. :)

After using the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless, I can confidently say the consensus online is spot on—everyone was right. These are genuinely top-tier gaming headphones. The sound quality is excellent right out of the box: clear footsteps, strong positional audio, clean mids, and punchy but controlled bass. The DAC is a game-changer and makes dialing in EQ profiles incredibly easy. Wireless performance is rock solid with no noticeable latency, and the dual-device setup (gaming + Bluetooth) works flawlessly. Comfort overall is very good, build quality feels premium, and the mic is far better than what you’d expect from a wireless headset. The only real downside is the ear cups. They’re just a bit shallow, so if you have larger ears, they may lightly touch the drivers. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it’s noticeable during longer sessions. The good news is this is easily solved with aftermarket ear pads, which completely fixes the issue. All things considered, this headset absolutely lives up to its reputation. Expensive, yes—but if you’re looking for one of the best wireless gaming headsets available, this is it.

Edit: So with my replacement set, the Bluetooth hiss went away which is a plus. However, they were still incredibly painful to wear because the ANC mic's inside the earpiece still dig into your ears. I was able to fix this with an aftermarket set of pads (they're called WC Freeze if you're looking). That being said, you shouldn't have to spend 30$ extra to have 400$ headphones not hurt you. However, my current issue is the mic audio cutting in and out. It happens in both discord and Xbox game chats (never use it on PC so not sure if it is also an issue there). It seems to be some sort of overzealous noise cancellation built into the headset that can't be disabled while using them on console. So I'm going to try going into the settings on PC to see if it's something I can disable. But my initial opinion still stands, there's zero reason to buy these headphones at their current price. The swappable battery is really the one unique feature, but absolutely not worth all the other problems. You'd be better off buying two nice headsets for this price if you have issues remembering to charge them and just always have one plugged in. So I'll start this by saying if these were $99 headphones I'd judge them less harsh and maybe give them a 3/5. But being nearly $400 after tax, I feel like the bar is set a little higher. I bought these mainly for Xbox after they added in discord support so I could game with my brother. I also liked the idea of a hot swappable battery and the controls on the headset itself. As far as those features go, I can say I really have no complaints. But I also wanted a headset I could connect to both a phone & computer for work so I didn't ever have to switch devices. My current Sony xm3 headphones work great for Bluetooth, but can only handle one device at a time. So my major issues with these headphones are the comfort, configurability, and Bluetooth audio quality. I'm going to be comparing these to my 5 year old Sony's, as they are my primary headphones. These were meant to replace them for work, but just couldn't measure up. Comfort: In the ear cups, there's some sort of plastic piece that I assume is part of the driver assembly that protrudes quite a way into the cup, pressing against your ear. So while wearing them for 30 minutes is fine, if you wear them for hours it becomes painful. Ideally this would be recessed more, but they could also probably fix it with thicker ear pads (although they're already pretty thick). Also not a fan of the fabric piece attached to the headband; no matter how I adjusted it it never really seems to provide any benefit. My Sony's are ancient, and even with their compressed foam I never have my ears touch the inside of the cup. Configurability: My main gripe here is that you can't disable the noise cancelling from the headphones. This can be done on Bose/Sony from the controls on the headphones. Bluetooth: When turning on Bluetooth, you get a constant static sound in the right ear cup. It's very similar to radio static like when you tune in between stations. From what I can tell, it seems to pick up interference very easily from nearby cell phones. Which is an issue seeing as 90% of the time I'm using Bluetooth it's with my cell phone. I found when I was connected via Bluetooth to my computer, I could move my cell phone around and in certain positions the static would go away. I googled this issue and tons of other people report the same thing (although no one else seemed to connect it to cell phones, probably because everyone has theirs nearby at all times). I definitely have never had an issue with my Sony headphones. So ultimately I put in for a warranty request this weekend. They're confident a new set will solve the noise issue, but I'm less than optimistic. Unfortunately because I've had these for several months I can't return them, but I really should have worn them more when I first bought them. Then I would have caught these issues and been able to return them. I'll likely just sell the replacement set and get something else. Because even if the noise issue is fixed, the comfort is a big deal to me since I'll often game for 2-4 hours at a time if I'm on with my brother.

Yes, these headphones are expensive. No getting around that. But honestly? After using them, they feel absolutely worth every penny. If you’re on the fence, wondering if you should pull the trigger — let me tell you, you’re not going to regret it. The build quality is fantastic. They feel solid without being heavy, and everything from the headband to the earcups feels like it was made to last, not just to look good sitting on your desk. The sound is where they really shine, though. Clean, detailed, powerful — these are headphones that make you want to re-listen to your favorite tracks and re-watch your favorite movies just to hear all the stuff you were missing. The DAC built into the headset is a game-changer. Plugging directly into the PC and letting the headset handle the sound processing gives you an absolutely crystal-clear experience, without needing a separate setup. I’m using the free PC app "SoundSwitch" to easily swap between sound outputs depending on what I’m doing, because — at least for now — I haven’t found a way for the headset to automatically take over when it connects. (There’s probably a way... I just haven’t figured it out yet.) One of the first things I did was swap out the stock ear cushions for some Wicked Cushion Freeze ear pads — and wow, highly recommend. The stock cushions aren’t bad at all, but the Freeze ones take comfort to a whole new level. If you plan to wear these for long gaming or work sessions, it's a very worthwhile upgrade. I haven't bothered installing the SteelSeries software, mostly because I read it's a little clunky and unnecessary. Good news — you absolutely don’t need it. Instead, grab a Dolby Atmos license from the Windows App Store (it’s a small one-time purchase) and prepare to have your mind blown. Atmos + these headphones = pure bliss. So far I’ve only used them with my PC, but it’s really nice knowing they’re fully compatible with Xbox too. It adds a little extra value knowing you’re not locked into one system. Bottom line: if you care about sound quality, build quality, and having a headset that feels truly premium, this is 100% worth the money. It’s not just "good for gaming" or "good for PC" — it’s genuinely one of the best listening experiences I’ve had, period. My only regret is not buying them sooner. But hey, better late than never — and now I can hear every footstep, every guitar string, and every overly dramatic movie explosion with ridiculous clarity. 10/10, would happily sell a kidney if I needed to.

Been using this for almost 2 months and I could not be happier. I've been using gaming headsets since Turtle Beach broke into the Xbox 360 scene. Theres some things that are a must have for me (a clearly identifiable mute setting) and some that are a very nice bonus. So far I dont have any negatives on this headset. Its comfortable, noise cancelling works very well, and the audio quality is superb. Its very easy to connect, once you plug the base into your PC, you are connected. Thats it. Its got an endless battery system, which is fantastic if you are like me and forget to plug it in to charge it. Just swap the battery pack between the ear and the base, and you've got another 8-10 hrs of heavy use. It also has a bluetooth feature I didn't initially set up, but I am glad I finally did. It turns on/off independently from the PC connection, and has 1 button on the right ear. Once its connected and you turn it on, it allows for dual input at once. You can be connected to PC in a game, and in a discord VC, and also be able to scroll your phone and hear Tiktok in your headset seamlessly. This is a very cool feature. It is also handy if you are heavy gaming and you get a phone call, you can swipe to answer and your headset is now connected to the call handsfree. Its a bit pricy, but worth it to me.

Comprei a versão do Xbox pq é única que serve para todas as plataformas inclusive o PS5. Sobre o fone, já tive Astro A50, arctis 7x, fone oficial do Xbox series, pulse 3D e até um Bose conectado por cabo no controle, e nenhum desses fones teve a profundidade de som que esse proporciona, segue avaliação dos itens: Conforto: 8/10 (pra mim incomoda um pouco na parte de cima da orelha, mas não impede de jogar por horas) Som: 10/10 e sem precedente, a distinção de graves e agudos e muito boa, e com áudio em 3D fica melhor ainda. Conectividade: a versão do Xbox e melhor funciona com tudo se colocar na opção PC e a conexão bluetooth e ótima, que permite enquanto joga conecte no celular para ouvir um podcast por exemplo, ah, o volume e independente ou seja e fácil mixar entre os aparelhos. Sem dúvida uma compra ótima, mas sendo franco, aqui e pra quem é chato com o som, quem liga mais ou menos há versões mais baratas que entregam uma ótima qualidade de som.

Once I turn the ANC on there is a static noise on the right ear, but overall great headset

Vengo de unos arctis nova 7x y aunque son hermanos, si se siente la diferencia, los pro son un poco mas pesados, mejor construidos y aprietan un poco más. Suenan muy bien con sonar, hay que ecualizarlos aunque solo funciona en PC. Cuando juegas en consola tiene unos presets en el dac incluido o bien lo puedes ecualizar al gusto. Estos audifonos los tengo dentro de mi coleccion por que me gusta el bt simultaneo, escucho música o videos mientras juego en mi xbox o play. Ya tiene bastante tiempo en el mercado pero si los podria recomendar.
