I have zero complaints about this spotting scope. I need it only for spotting smallbore targets at 50 feet, and for that purpose it’s excellent.The glass optics seem to have been expertly cut and positioned in the tube with three different adjustments, and focusing is a piece of cake. I haven’t tried it at farther distances because that’s not why I bought it.The tripod is sturdy and stable, and perfect for setting the scope on the bench at any standard indoor range. Also, the phone attachment works perfectly for my iPhone 14 Pro; it doesn’t give as full a view as your eye against the eyepiece, but it’s good enough for my purposes.The only suggestion I would make is to include a tightening knob to tighten the pan on the scope – the weight of the scope itself keeps it in place, but being able to tighten it would add one extra layer of stability. Other than that, this is an unbelievable deal for $50.

Maybe it's me, I don't like to think I bought a pig in a poke. I bought this spotter to replace one that is extremely old, so old that one has to change out pieces 20x - 60x rather than dial the power like with this new one. I used a spotter strictly for target shooting At a local 200 yard rifle range, and so far only at Max 100 yards. I used FMJ and frangible ammunition. I shoot a mini-14 in 5.56 NATO/.223. Problems began right away. The tripod is flimsy and not adjustable. Getting the spotter on target was very difficult, mostly my fault I think. Once I found the target and tried to tighten everything down the spotter moved off the target and I had to try to find it again. I just could not get the "sight picture" in place; any little touch would move the spotter off target. I fired strings of fire with the FMJ and with frangible. I found that at 100 yards I could not see the FMJ holes. however, the frangible rounds made a slightly larger hole, which I could see, barely. It's an inexpensive piece of gear so I'm going to keep it and try to make it work.

Tough to beat for $49. Very clear optics as good as more expensive scopes except when you up the magnification towards 60x. still pretty clear and sharp but the focus is very limited and takes steady hand, which I don't have. But even at 60x you can see detail great. Just wish it had a better eye relief distance. Have to really get on the eyepiece at higher magnification. But for $49, at the range it's absolutely great to distances way out terer. Also, you will probably want a taller tripod so you can use it standing up and maybe a soft case. If so don't waste your money on buying a new tripod or soft case new. You can go to a Goodwill thrift store and get a perfectly good tripod or case for about $5 each. They usually have a bunch.

HUICOCY Spotting Scope with 20-60x60mm Zoom is a fantastic scope. The image is crystal clear ( at least out to 200 yards which is what I've done so far). The zoom works smoothly and seamlessly and does it's job perfectly. The scope came with 2 lens covers front and rear. And the adjustments are very precise and easy to use. This spotting scope is spot on. Large field of view at distance. I was initially suspect when I ordered this scope at it's low price. The suspicions were quickly dispelled when I mounted it on the tripod and used it at the range. I am extremely pleased with it and highly recommend this scope to anyone looking for a high quality scope at very reasonable price. Plus it comes in is own form fitting zippered case. The tripod leg support is more than adequate to stabilize the scope.

At one point with trying to sight in 1 particular rifle, things got so bad we had to resort to a spotter scope. It did the trick.
