I use them to hold my 4ft straight edge
Attached them to my shelf and they look great. Good quality, thick metal and easy to install anywhere.

Slip-on mounting brackets.
Worked well as slip on mounting brackets for tool box for tractor. Might have been a little better with heavier gauge material. Still, good enough.
