Perfect!
Years ago I purchased a refurbished Vita Mix blender.A month ago, I accidentally put the pitcher it came with on the glass top stove that was still hot and it melted a section. I was going to buy another mixer but I wasn't spending a lot of $$$. Nor did I want to pay the Vitamix replacement part price. THEN Lo and BEHOLD, I see this one!I was nervous if the blades and preciseness of the blades would be the same. IT IS!!!!!!!I am so pleased with this product. I highly recommend.

I can finally leave my Vitamix on my countertop!
This is a really well made replacement jar! I have been keeping my Vitamix in my cabinets for years because my old (original) pitcher will not fit on the base under my cabinets, but this one fits perfectly in my 18" high space.The pitcher itself is very similar to the original in quality, with thick sidewalls and a sturdy base. The blade is not quite as sharp as my original, but it is sharp and blends beautifully. I like how it's the same 64oz size as my original jar, just wide instead of tall.The only issue I have is with the lid, it does not sit nicely or securely inside the jar. The original Vitamix lid has clasps on either side that secure it down, but the replacement doesn't have anything to keep it secured to the jar. Also, it doesn't really have a nice "seat" to set it into, so it is hard to get it to sit securely on top. It takes some getting used to to get it right, but more often I just end up holding it in place while I am blending. And because it's wider than my original jar, I can't just swap out the lids unfortunately.But other than that, this is a great replacement that seems like it will serve me well for years. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

Lid doesn’t stay on
I’ve had a vitamix blender for forever, love it. However, I bought an additional container and this one is awful. The lid does not stay on. I get messes everywhere now and I can’t get through one use of it without it getting food everywhere.

Haven’t missed my vitamix pitcher
Kept my original vitamix lid but this pitcher has proved able to do everything the oem model can do for a fraction of the cost
