I hate when I wake up with a dry mouth from breathing through my mouth. I often get a dry nose that is blocked and it is no fun to breath through your nose with a whistling sound and one nostril is often completely blocked. Sometimes I would get up and apply adhesive nose strips, but that takes a lot of fumbling in the middle of the night. So now I just keep one of these dilators on my night stand and pop it in if I need it when I wake. It does not open my nostrils quite as wide as the adhesive nose strips, but it is way more convenient. You can feel it, but it is not much pressure and I go back to sleep quickly. I cannot say it will work for everybody, but for the cost it is worth a try. I have a slightly larger nose than most people and a medium size worked fine for me. It is not gross. It comes out clean. I do rinse it off in the morning.

I have used these nasel spreaders for years.....they are usually soft and pliable and contour to the shape of your nose....not this one. It is stiff rubber, hurts your nose, pops out one side then the other. Color is awful... some are almost invisible. Can't say enough bad about it... didn't even want to give it a 1 star.

This gadget was a bit more robust than another brand i purchased before. Does it work better? First, there is no way i could quantify accurately that it opens up nasal passage 70% more, but subjectively it does feel that i breathe a bit better with it. I am still on the fence about whether it is superior to the flimsier gadget i used before. That said i think i will stick with this one because it is better engineered and may last longer.

I see a lot of negative reviews so I wanted to share my own experience.I've tried a few different things to improve airflow while I sleep, including nasal strips and another brand of nasal dilator. This brand took a little getting used to but is my favorite by far. My partner tells me that I snore much less and sleep much better with a nasal dilator in than without.I started out with nasal strips but those didn't make any difference. The other brand of nasal dilator was a little more comfortable, but used a plastic that would wear out quickly. AIRMAX nasal dilators are made of a silicon-like material that seems to last a lot longer. There is some friction, so these were uncomfortable to wear at first and I would alternate brands to give my nostrils a break. Now I just buy these.I would recommend to try for anyone with a snoring problem.

These work well as a dilator but they irritate my nostril more than other brands I’ve tried. Even with using some ointment, it’s gets raw inside my nose

I have had multiple nose surgeries and still can't breathe do to the shaping of inside my nose. I tend to panic when I can't get air. Although these are not perfect they are a life saver to me. I don't like the fact that they are orange. Why can't they be clear? I do wear it in public often and have gotten over the embarrassment. They allow air thru my nostrils that I otherwise wouldn't have. When I misplace this I freak out so have ordered multiple. The orange is a good color to find when misplaced. They are soft and you can't feel that it's in. I don't mine at a different angle and don't push up all the way. You will have to see what works for you. They are soft and flexible. All you do is wash them in water each day. The price is good considering g the relief it gives.

Have needed these gadgets ever since I tired of Breathe Right’s hassle. Tried a few other styles from Amazon, never quite found a really good dilator. Until I noticed Airmax! Wow, the simplest design and the best results. Comfortable, stays in place all night!
