It was open and almost empty
I was waiting for it for a while only to get it half empty. This is unacceptable and disappointing.

Great tone up cream
I can see why this has won so many awards over the years. The texture is light and has a soft satin-y almost matte finish… once dried it feels somewhat velvet-y but still a little moist… but I’d still highly recommend to set well with powder if you sweat a lot, as it will come off like essentially any makeup. It seems like this would work on a variety of different skin types. I would urge consumers to really consider this like a sheer white foundation, because that is probably the most accurate description from a western perspective. I wear it on its own with concealer, powder, blush, etc. It lasts pretty perfectly throughout the day and brightens my skin. I like that I can use it on my neck and body to brighten, but it doesn’t transfer onto clothes in a way that is noticeable. It looks like how sunscreen looks when it transfers onto clothes, which is probably the best case scenario in terms of makeup… I would definitely recommend this if you are interested!

Decent, if you know what and who it's for.
Tone-up creams have a specific user in mind, which is why so many people who it is not meant for are unhappy. I'm not going to defend the colorist reasons behind why they were created, but the fact is, tone-up creams are specifically targeted towards already-pale people only. The complaint that it gives a white cast is funny because that's literally what tone-up creams are meant to do. They are meant for already-pale people to either cover up redness or to make unevenly-tanned parts of your skin match. For example, I am already naturally very pale, so I use this on my face to cover redness and make that redness match the rest of my already-pale face. I also use this to make the back of my neck, which is more tan, match my very-pale front of my neck and chest. Since I fit the narrow profile of who tone-up creams are intended for and know what they are supposed to be used for, it works well. There are still good and bad tone-up creams. The bad ones are very chalky and give a weird pink tone. Fortunately this is a pretty decent one. It does rub off on my nose (but so does everything, plus I rub my nose a bit more than other parts of my face). As far as it actually brightening my skin over time even when I wash it off, well I don't find that to be the case with any tone-up cream I've used.

Love it!
This tone-up cream makes my skin look naturally brighter, which I love especially when I wear light makeup. It blends smoothly, feels weightless, and gives a fresh, clean look without being too much. Perfect for everyday use!

Good but costly
Works as a light foundation, doesn't brighten your skin overtime though. Also very expensive for how small the package is. It leaves the skin a tiny bit sticky after applying but it's very light so it's okay. My skin is soft so it's fine after it dries up. Doesn't have a strong smell either.
