Quite happy to have found this pencil board. I like a minimalist look, and this pairs perfectly with my Hobonichi Black Gingham HON. While I love the Techo's, I really abhor ghosting, so having a black background behind the page really helps disguise any writing that's on the back side of the page.

I am so pleased with this board. It functions perfectly on several levels. The most important factor for me was thickness vs flexibility. The fine line (pun intended) between too thick and still firm enough to be effective has been achieved. The added features of a grid layout on one side with a ruler on the other make this an efficient and fun journaling tool. Well done!

first off, I love the thought behind this product, and how well it works for me - not only is it thinner than hobonichi pencil boards (meaning you don't get lumps in the paper because of its flexibility) but it also has grid lines that can still be seen through midori MD paper. The board was delivered with a sturdy cardboard packaging that maintained no creases in transit. and finally the letter from Andrew was a delightful personal touchwill purchase from this seller more in the future!
