I am very short on space but needed a little extra space to place a second laptop at typing height so I can move from one computer to the other. I could not find a small enough table. Then I realised that perhaps I could use a projector/music stand with tripod to hold the laptop. Tripod because that allows me to tuck it as close to my desk as possible at the bottom. If it was a table with different stand, I would not be able to fit it so close. Also, sturdy enough to hold a 15.6 inch laptop, quite heavy as it is a gaming laptop (not used for gaming).I wasn't sure about the stand but thought I would give it a go. Very easy to set up, very sturdy, completely steady on holding the laptop and when I type on it. Fantastic purchase. Also comes with a carry bag if I ever need to put it away or take it elsewhere. I will also be able to use the stand for projector purposes, as well as a paper holder when giving talks. All around winner. Money well spent.

Been meaning to buy a new music stand for my nine year old daughter for a while now so went for this one. Really glad I did as it’s perfect all round! Had issues before with ones with the thin legs as she kept standing on them so they bent and then you have a wonky stand. Very annoying. This music stand is solid, sturdy and has great multiple adjustment levels. The legs on this stand are thicker and don’t stand out too far from the main body of it. It’s not heavy, looks professional and overall it’s great value for money. Comes with a handy carrying bag as well which probably won’t be used too often but it completes the look. A great buy!!

It is great that this music stand separates to produce a smaller stand as required. It is robustly constructed and has a feel of quality about it. Love that it can be broken down to fit in the small carrying case – incredibly helpful. There is also plenty of room in the carrying case for other bits and pieces such as a music stand light, a cable or two, et cetera. Would not hesitate to recommend this music stand.

This music stand, which I intend to use as a portable lectern, is an excellent piece of equipment. It is intuitively simple to assemble, and designed to combine reassuring solidity with an easily packable disassembled state. The carrying bag seems a bit flimsy, but it’s handy to have a custom bag as part of the kit.I am very pleased with it.

Very good quality for the price. Very sturdy, not particularly lightweight to use as a portable stand for a student, but perfect to have set-up in a room at home or studio. Can take sheet music, books and an iPad no problem from the point of view of weight.

Brilliant professional solid metal stand. Use magnets to secure everything. Music pencils etc. Solid sturdy excellent quality with metal screws which Will last. Bag is tough and strong and a good size steady to use.
