I have a golden/lab who eats SO fast (no matter how much food I gave him, it always seemed like he needed more - even though he doesn't, he would scarf down 2 cups of food within 2 minutes no joke). Since I switched his bowl to this one, it's been a huge improvement in him slowing down on his feeding. I actually think he enjoys eating out of this bowl rather than a regular bowl. My Rhodesian Ridgeback is not a fan (only because he's old - 9 years old) but he'll tolerate it. It's been an improvement for him too, since he's so big he'll just scarf his food down without chewing half the time. These bowls make him slow down and chew now. I also loved that it came in a double pack with a great price. The design is cool and colors are cute for my boy dogs. I also love that they're dishwasher safe too, so it makes it easy to clean! I've only had these bowls for about a week, so far they seem durable.

Bought these for my two 1 year old large breed dogs! They are very sturdy, beautifully colored & work well allowing them both down from inhaling their food in one bite! A bit of advice is not to leave it unattended with a heavy chewer unless you want them to become a chew toy! Lesson learned.

Excellent design and works great on my French Bulldog. Does the trick beautifully and has slowed her down big time. Can’t bear the price and quality.

These work very well. Sturdy bowls with a grip at the bottom - dogs aren’t pushing them around the room. Has definitely helped my pups SLOW down!Good purchase!

These bowls are perfect for our medium sized dogs! We have had slow feeder bowls before, but our dogs had difficulty getting the food out of it (it DID slow them down). We bought this design, hoping this would still slow them down, but they would be able to get the food pieces out, and it works perfectly! These are dishwasher safe, which makes clean up a breeze. They have held up to our two puppies, who chew on everything, and are aggressive eaters. Would recommend this product and LOVE the color options!

We purchased the med. blue bowls 3 months ago and wish we had bought them sooner! These bowls have improved feeding time so much for our 17 yr old terrier mix Ricco Suave, the change in him is wonderful to watch.Ricco loves food and lives for meal time. Before, whether breakfast or dinner, he would inhale his food in about 10 seconds and then stare at us like, "that's it?" Now, with these bowls, he will eat his meals slowly in about 6 minutes...like he's a different dog. Even though it is the same amount of food as before, he will look up at us gratefully as if we are finally feeding him the amount he has been requesting for years.His meal time has become more pleasant for us, also. Instead of having to say to him "that's all you get", or "you already ate" 15 seconds after you put his bowl of food down, Ricco receives more praise for eating slowly. Meal time is much more calm and non stressful. Our cat seconds this message.The bowls are easy to clean and look nice on his eating mat. One is for crunchies and one is for meals. He quickly adapted using these with his first meal.Again, I wish I knew about these bowls earlier...don't wait to purchase if you have a dog that eats similar to Ricco!

This bowl slowed our yellow labs eating time in half. It definitely will not fit 2 cups of food but easily fits one. It does slide around easily, which sort of stinks so we make sure it’s in a corner. I would recommend it because it did slow our dogs eating time.

Our beagle puppy is the most food driven dog I’ve ever seen and this slows him down significantly. It’s good quality and the dogs don’t tear it up, it’s not too deep so they can’t get their food out. We put about a cup of food at a time and that fits well if you give the bowl a good shake- you can easily fit more if needed.
