I purchased this for my husband for his nightstand. He absolutely loves it. It’s especially nice that it can be plugged in or battery in case we lose power. He likes the fingerprint and key pad option and the light feature is awesome. Only slight negative is that it does not fit in our nightstand drawer and still function. Meaning: it will fit in the drawer when closed but being in the drawer does not allow the door/hinge to open.

I was so looking forward to having a gun safe near me. I received the safe is perfect condition, got out the setup instructions and it went smoothly. I put it aside until the next day. I tried to open the safe using the fingerprint reader - no lights, it didn't work. I tried the digital pin number - no lights, wouldn't open. There 's a option to hook up a usb -c connector power supply - it did not work, no lights, wouldn't open. Stupid me, I locked the tumbler key in the safe so that access was lost. The instructions had a trouble shooting page. It told me if there were no lights - to replace the batteries. If the safe wouldn't open, how can we replace the batteries?I'm so very, very fortunate to NOT put my handguns in the safe. I would have to cut the safe open.This is not the product to have quick access to my handgun to 'defend my home'. This is NOT a product I would recommend to anyone. It's not reliable and should be removed from the Amazon website.Do not purchase this product, it's actually dangerous. The only plus side to this purchase, I returned it to Amazon the next day and received a refund within 4 hours.

The media could not be loaded. Ordered to hold valuables. What I like the most about it is that it was really easy to setup. I used rechargeable batteries (I don’t know if they charge when it is plugged in), and figure I can swap them out when they die. It comes with two keys you can use to open it if you don’t have power, or you can use a portable charger/plug it into an outlet. It does have some weight to it, but would be easy to carry it off if you don’t bolt it to something. If I was really determined, I might be able to break it open (but I’m not going to try). It would definitely take some time and motivation! Overall, I like it and it will work for my purpose.
