But, how many do you need ? At time of writing one single 5 Litre can costs £58 , but you can buy 5 of them (i.e. 5 X 5 litres = 25 Litres) for £200 ...... meaning each can is £40 rather than £58. Don't try to cut it too fine, if you buy slightly more than you need you can always give it another coat which enhances finish. As I've said in my 25 Litre review, prep is everything here - make sure surface is thoroughly cleaned first and clear of surplus sand, twigs, oil stains etc - or this product will do a great job of sealing it in !

Gives a lovely Matt (slight sheen) finish. Glad I went for this rather than the gloss.Used in conjunction with setting sand and really gives a nice professional finish and looks just great. Easy to apply.Picture doesn't really do it justice. This is not a new installation but a renevation after around 12 years. Blocks sanded, re-pointed and sealed and haven't seen a weed yet after 2 months.Just remember to order the right quantities for your surface area to avoid extra postal charges

I've used this stuff on my block paving since it was laid 20 years ago.It is expensive but it is excellent stuff, so hard wearing, virtually turns the filling sand to brick.No weeds are getting through and very stain resistant.i've used this 3 times on my paving since its been laid in 2000, i wouldn't have needed it re-coated except for extreme freezing conditions in winter which raised my blocks and cracked the seals :-(

Bit expensive if you have a large area, but it does look good and seals well

this sealant certainly binds the sand between the bricks but if rolling on inevitably sand attaches itselfto the roller and will deposit it on the surface of the bricks leaving a crispy covering which is hard to remove.also it gives the bricks a dirty appearance

Does not go very far

Was worried about the cost but used Resiblock matt finish after research into similar products. Dud the hard work of preparation cleaning weeding thouroughly and ressnding. Found it easy to apply (roller over all and brush for edges of blocks). Found the quantities advised on the tin as correct fit 2 coats. Really really pleased with result drive as good as new after being in 10 years.Did it myself (woman in my 60s) over few days of good weather end of May. Money well spent.
