Great upgrade over my previous Skyjacker
I was starting to experience some rough spots on the road. Steering feedback. My previous unit only lasted about 25k or so miles. I decided on the teraflex and cleared up my issue. My JKU is stock height only upgrade larger tire than stock no lift. Easy bolt on to stock mounts. I did adjust the mounting bracket to ensure the shock had full travel though.

Really helps steering feel over bumps
I installed this stabilizer on my 2007 JK Sahara Wrangler with 115,000 miles on it. I have a 2.5" lift kit and larger 33" tires on the rig since about 10,000 miles. I was experiencing death wobble that seemed to be showing itself more and more as time went on. So I did the front track bar bolt replacement (to larger bolts, no drilling required!), search for "Jeep Wrangler JK Track Bar Bolt Suspension Upgrade Kit" on Amazon. That fixed the death wobble but I still had pretty bad bump steer on the roads, the worse case being between about 40 and 50 mph.Once I got the old factory stabilizer shock off, I quickly figured out the factory one was shot!! It looked fine but once off the Jeep I could feel that the resistance / damping was not there with any significance, I think the fluid was mostly gone inside the shock is how it felt. The Teraflex was firm throughout the stroke and I could tell before I installed it that this was going to make a difference.Since I have a 2007 Wrangler, I followed the directions and removed 1.5" from the dust cover. This was easy enough to do by marking with painter's tape and then using a utility knife to cut it off. I also used the painters tape along the body of the shock so I could mark the extremes and find the center for proper installation. My Jeep did not need the tie rod bracket to be modified / shaved in any manner. I did move the bracket more towards the passenger side by about 1" to accommodate the center point of the new Teraflex shock. No big deal, that is in my case 4 nuts that a 13mm socket easily loosens up. I took my time with this and the time for the install was about 1.5 hours. The steering quality over bumps on the road now is so much better!! Thanks for a great product Teraflex!!

Works, but doesn't seem to be as firm as stock
2007 Jeep JKU: Damaged my Mopar damper, so I bought this one because it's beefier. My stock one was firm one way, but loose the other. But, before I put this on, I compared it to my stock damper (the one direction it worked on) and the stock one seemed to be a little firmer than this 9550 VSS. It took me more effort to push the stock one in. However, this did the job. Teraflex usually has good products, so hopefully it will last.

Fixed my floating/shaky steering issue.
Direct fit for my 2012 Wrangler. Took away a lot of shaky feedback and tightened up the steering on the highway.

STOPS Jeep Death Wobble
I have a 2012 Jeep Sahara Unlimted, 100% factory, no mods, low mileage for the age of the vehicle (60K in 8 years)., mostly highway. Started to get the infamous Jeep Death Wobble about 3-4 years ago and it progressively got worse. Would avoid roads I did not normally go on to avoid a pothole or bump that sent the Jeep into the wobble where the front end feels like it is going to fall off untill you lower rate of speed to under 20 mph. No big deal until you are on highway and fear someone is going to rear end you at 60 mph as you slow down to stop the vibration of the fixed axle.Made complaint to NHTSA and Fiat Chrysler, they act like not an issue, just google "Death Wobble" #1 search result. Bought this part, incredibly easy to install, took about 45 mins, needed a 15 and 18 mm wrench and a white marker to mark the steering maximum stops to ensure I did not exceed them. No lift needed. Easy fix. Best $40 I have spent in years. In two months, have not had an issue, even intentionally hit potholes to see if resonance starts but it does not.All I can say is that shame on FCA for not fixing this or recalling thsi obvious safety issue. But for $40 and a 45 mins, you can do yourself.

Total let down
No, no, no, no. Product is NOT for a lifted 2015 Wrangler Ulmtd. First off, if you are missing ANY BOLTs, purchase those B4 hand. Only I you want to run the risk of wasting your money. Instructions are total garbage, and the video.... Don't even get me started on the video. NO. I had to modify parts and honestly, i drive it maybe 200 yds sped up to hit a bump, and kill me death wobble is still there. The only and I mean only thing this did was MAYBE tighten the handling of steering in the play with the steering wheel.99% let down. The 1% goes to me writing the reviews. I'm sorry to the maker, but, take your money grabber to the appropriate lifted truck shop and down the extra $200......I would post a pic, but I am too embarrassed.*****UPDATE*****So, after manipulation and ordering a new mounting bracket for tie rod, it actually works. To an extent. Highly recommend buying product for lifts under 4" though. Almost ALL of the Death Wobble is eliminated.
