Brilliant and convenient way to match, compliment and discover colours. If it prevents a "it's not quite right" moment then it's worth it's cost many times over. A quick Google can also convert it to a Crown device with their full pallet of needed

Great product if you need to scan F&B paints in UK. If you need specify other paints, then you need to buy for the software that's coming with the app.

Bought this to find paint to match re-plastered patch on big ceiling where the original brilliant white had faded. Took multiple readings which were very consistent. Had paint mixed to shade and it is spot on. Only challenge is that is provides Hex, RGB codes etc but not RAL (which was what the paint supplier needed). However, a couple minutes online soon resulted in a Hex to RAL conversion

Unfortunately this device just doesn't work as advertised, actually, not even close to getting the colours correct the majority of the time. I tested it against known F & B colours and out of 12 attempts on various colours of matt (multiple reads on the same areas), it got it correct once although even that was the third choice. The rest of the time it was way off. Then there was the satin - not even close. Not even the correct colours! It was suggesting grey when the paint was deep green, blue when it was light green, black when it was grey (multiple reads). Second actual test against known colours and it stopped calibrating entirely either from the app or on the device itself. Just glad it happened so soon after I'd bought it so I could send it back. Very disappointed.

There is a choice of Europe or US registration and paints shown are very limited in the UK. To get direct access to certain brands fan decks, a different licensed version will be necessary. The device does feel a bit locked down due to licensing agreements but scanning does work well and data can be taken and used in a browser for in-depth colour research.

Den ansluter till telefonen utan problem och avläsningarna är mycket exakta. Man är inte låst till en speciell tillverkare utan mätaren innehåller både RAL och Farrow & Ball. På minussidan kan sägas att man måste prenumerera på NCS och att det flesta skandinaviska färgtillverkarnas kartor saknas.

Je fais fonctionner le colorimètre via ma tablette Samsung Tab S9 et/ou mon smartphone Samsung S22 sous android v15.00 Je déconseille le logiciel portfolio qui ne fonctionne pas avec ma tablette ou mon smartphone; J'utilise Datacolor colorreader (play store) qui s'installe sans refléchir et qui fonctionne très bien J'utilise la référence RAL pour identifier mes couleurs et j'ai passé commande chez amazon 2store24 pour de la peinture Alex Flittner. Le résultat m'a surpris car la correspondance est parfaite dans mon exercice de faire une retouche sur un meuble en bois

En fait le paramétrage de l'app est pas très facile au début, mais avec les bonnes explications, c'est parfait. on peut même transférer les nuanciers dans le lecteur qui affiche ensuite quelle code selon le nuancier choisi. un bon produit. merci beaucoup au vendeur qui a répondu très rapidement avec professionalisme.
