It was a pretty decent fan starting out, but the left side has died after four months of continuous use. Unfortunately it's not built to be maintained, having no way to open it up to clean it out. Best I could do was stick tweezers into the air vents to remove hair and lint buildup that were clogging it up, but there's no access to the blades or back neck portion. Can't say for sure if it was just wear that broke it, or that inaccessible dirt clogged up the motor and burnt it out. That being said, high power use 4 to 6 hours a day, 5 days a week for 4 months before encountering a problem ain't too shabby when taking into account how cheaply made most things are nowadays. If your frequency of use is even half of mine, it's worth the buy, just make sure you keep it as clean as you possibly can and store it somewhere dust can't accumulate.
