Excellent product for pressured fish.
We use these to catch finicky or hard to hook heavily pressured fish and they work every time. When I was first introduced to this product as a western angler, I thought that there was no way this would work, but sure enough, the technique is very effective and productive, the fish literally hook themselves, no hooksets, very delicate technique.

work great for me
I've been having a little trouble landing my carp lately so I ordered these to change my luck. Presto it worked. My landing to hook up % is 100% with these. Easy to use, great sharp hook, perfect size and have been very durable. My first catch on them was a 20.72lb carp. Good value.

Not a reliable rig for catching even medium sized carp (#2 size)
Hooks are poorly fastened to the barrel swivel. We bought #2 hair rigs with 30 pound test, which should be strong enough to handle almost any carp we catch in this area (7' rods, baitcasting reels with 20 # braid set to 16# drag), and had three out of five hooks fail during moderately heavy runs from the carp. The line appeared to be broken inside of the sleeve, but when we removed the sleeve from the barrel swivel, there was no remains of the knot.Although the hooks did an excellent job of rolling and hooking the bottom lip as they should, they have a problem with the entire rig remaining intact. Either there is just an overhand knot being tied to the barrel resulting in loss of strength or they are counting on the sleeve (and maybe some glue) to be able to handle the large fish one would assume given the 30# strength of the leader.I cannot recommend this product since it does not appear able to handle carp in the 10 to 15 pound class (our normal for that area) with any reliability. This is only for the #2 hooks as I have not tried the other sizes.ADDITIONAL NOTE I tested a total of 6 hooks from 3 different packs and got the same result. When I buried the hook into a piece of wood, and pulled on the barrel swivel, they all broke at 10 to 12 pounds pressure. 30 pound leader does not work if the knot holding the rig together breaks inside the sleeve (see picture of an example. I was able to dissect one of the sleeves and it looks to me like someone used a standard monofilament knot to try to secure braid. Really bad practice, and makes the hair rigs unusable for fish of any decent size. I would not suggest buying these hooks unless you are fishing for really old, tired, non-fighting carp.

Good rigs
Caught many carp with these rigs. They work great

Great rigs for the price - Almost 5 stars
These rigs are really good and the hooks are sharp and the little tools and plastic retainer pieces work really well. I fish some waters where I will catch 10 to 14 carp a day mostly in the 9 to 14 lb range, but in very shallow water, where they can jump a lot and really put a lot of stress on the line near shore, even though they are not huge euro carps. Every now and then I would lose one with the hook snapping off. So, i've started watching the rigs and they definitely wear the braid at the eye of the hook. The braid could be better quality, but honestly at that point it's caught a fair amount of fish and the hook probably isn't sharp enough anymore. So, once I see it wearing, I just tie on a new one and I don't mind doing so because they are very affordable. I cut off the braid and save the hooks which I will resharpen later and use for other purposes or just in case I need/want to tie a hair rig in the field. Still, it leaves me a little worry that I might lose a big one someday, otherwise it would be five stars

Great!

They suck
Not impressed at all. I've had multiple snap and lose my catch. Line held up, pole held up but the rigs snapped.
